Disappointing Takeout Experience! I recently ordered at KFC of Bristol and was quite disappointed with the service. While the food look great felt like lesser quality than a gas station French fries were cold chicken was medium warm. I question how long this food sits under a warmer. The beverage service was completely unacceptable. I was served the wrong drink, and instead of correcting the mistake, the staff insisted that I purchase another drink. This is not the kind of service I expect from a reputable establishment. It was a frustrating experience that left a negative impression. For something that cost cents why wouldn't you correct that?. This is why KFC's going out of business. Absolutely horrible service. I'm diabetic I can't drink that.. I'm going to go to Chick-fil-A or Popeyes from now on. The horrible service actually got me to turn around and take pictures of how clean this restaurant is If your floors look like that how clean are the counters? not only that if the food's cold how long is it been out?Hope corporate reaches out cuz I got plenty to say. Word of advice It's time to take KFC back into corporate hands get rid of the franchises and bring back everything you were.. I grew up in a restaurant and let me tell you if it ever looked like that I wouldn't have a job.. I think it's really convenient how I can't upload the photos...
Read moreI’ve never been to KFC. My son had been asking about it so I figured we’d try some of their mashed potatoes and gravy tonight. I was going to quickly pick some up on my way home from shopping. I went through the drive though and waited 3 minutes before they even took my order. After about 2 minutes I thought that maybe I miss-understood and they were waiting for me, so I said “hello?” and the woman working the drive though said, with a horrible attitude, “you need to give me a minute”. I finally ordered my large mashed potatoes and gravy and drove home. Got all the way home (walked in the door at 8:50) and no gravy. Went back to KFC and explained that I didn’t get gravy so asked for a free one for the gas and time wasted. The woman who was taking orders finished up 2 drive though orders before she even STARTED to make the mashed potatoes. I left KFC with my mashed potatoes and gravy at 9:25.....over a half hour after I got home with my original order....and it only takes about about 10 minutes to get there from my house....so about 20 minutes of waiting for an order they originally screwed up. And, the entire time they had a major attitude like I was putting them out and taking free time away from them. It was my first time there tonight and I will never go...
Read moreOn 9/3 1:15pm in Bristol, CT I ordered the 6 piece bucket for $10, a favorite I purchase about once a week. It was a simple question when I was handed a box instead of a bucket, that the appearance was not what I expected and perhaps it wasn't my order. The cashier laughed and mockingly said it doesn't have to come in a bucket. It's six pieces of chicken. Fine, that is easily understood, if you don't enrage the customer by mocking the question. I didn't expect it and the fool-hardy, attitude that I was stupid, because I questioned if it was my order, based solely on packaging was a slow burn. GOOD customer service is to simply say, no buckets and we packed it in a box. apologies for the surprise. No problem I tho't it was the wrong order. But the howling grin and mocking words are rebuked and unwelcome. Perhaps the great genius cashing my $20 dollar bill might have understood that pissing off a customer is a retail-sin and punishable by boycotting a business that hires low character mockers for help. You don't mock a customer because you handed them something that appeared to belong to...
