Making an edit here based on the owner’s response. I was NEVER told to call back to place a deposit. Again, I would have gladly paid the entire cost up front. I told Carlos I would let him know if I would pick this up or have a pick-up scheduled. This has nothing to do with the cake order itself. Once it’s ready, it doesn’t matter if I’m picking it up or sending someone to pick it up.

I ordered a tres leches cake for a very special birthday. I called this morning to confirm it would be ready, and Carlos informed me he hadn’t placed the order because I didn’t let him know if I was going to pick it up or have Door Dash pick it up. This has nothing to do with it. How I pick it up is irrelevant. He also told me they require a deposit. The time to tell me this would’ve been when I placed the order. I would have happily paid for the entire thing up front. Now, I don’t have the cake I ordered that was for someone very special.

Jossi did call me and offered an alternative, or to make the cake I ordered but with a pick-up time hours after when I need it. I didn’t want it rushed, and it didn’t fit into my schedule,...

I ordered a wedding cake and I was told the cake would not be exactly as picture I showed , but would be similar . The cake looked nothing like what I thought it would . I was very disappointed , but I had no time to get another one for my big day ! The top layer of the cake was sliding off and it was all smashed when I took out of box . I paid 220$ for my wedding cake and it was ruined and it was not Red velvet cake or cream cheese frosting . It was mostly frosting and I think that’s why it fell apart . All my guests tasted the cake and it was terrible not one guest liked it . It was sickly , sweet frosting and cake tasted like almond . I threw it out ! When I called about the cake and showed pictures , I was told I would not be refunded for cake, after discussing She said she would give me 40% back so I ended up with 88$ refunded . I was so disappointed that I wasn’t refunded the full amount . I do NOT recommend ordering anything from this business . You will be so disappointed. I wish I could...

I would not recommend getting your cake from here. They made my mom’s wedding cake. It literally fell apart after 5 mins of sitting out of the fridge and it was not made according to order. It wasn’t the right frosting that was ordered, the cake was not true velvet, and there was hardly any cake inside. It was mostly made of frosting. When I called to talk to the manager she informed me that she would only refund her 35% of what she paid because the cake was made and sent home. Part of my mom’s big day was ruined because of this and I find it unacceptable that she was only refunded 35%! Seeming the reason the cake fell apart clearly was because it was mostly made of frosting and was built incorrectly. She should have been refunded the full 100%! That would have been the right way to handle this situation. Not only did her cake fall apart due to incompetence, the right thing was not done by refunding her the full amount.
