Walk in as a family of five for dinner and walked out with only two of our family members eating dinner. We ordered chicken Parmesan with Alfredo sauce on the pasta, and the chicken Parmesan made the traditional way with red sauce. It came to the table with no red sauce no cheese baked on it and completely drenched in Alfredo sauce. It looked like a wet soggy chicken tender with a side of spaghetti. We kindly asked if it could be made correctly that it came out wrong and the owner or restaurant manager gave us attitude and took the plate back after only offering us a side of marinara to pour on it to make it right. Then my daughter who ordered spaghetti noodles with half Alfredo and half marinara also received hers wrong with only Alfredo sauce. We asked if she could have a side of marinara that it did not come out with half-and-half sauce and we were informed by the restaurant owner or manager that it could not be made that way. So they made it how they wanted without informing us that it could not be made the way the waiter took the order. I asked why nobody bothered to come to our table to let us know that it could not be made the way it was ordered so something else could be chosen or alternatives could be offered. The response we received was that the waiter has only worked there three days. On this plate, no solutions were offered, no side of marinara was offered. We were simply told it could not be made the way we ordered so we had to accept the way that they brought it. My husband ordered the lasagna and said it was very salty. With all of this being said, our waiter never once came to our table after taking our order. The manager or owner was completely rude and not accommodating. He was totally unapologetic and did not offer any solutions for any of the issues they fell short in. This is beyond an issue of this restaurant just being newly opened. This is an issue with management/ownership not training staff appropriately. The food was also subpar the bread even looked great in review pictures, but it was essentially a piece of pizza dough thrown in the oven with no seasoning or flavor. We were disappointed in food quality and taste and service and will not be back. Good menu spread...
Read moreWe went a few weeks ago on a Saturday. They were very busy; I think it was their first weekend open, or maybe the second. The service was very slow, but considering how busy they were, that wasn't really a problem. The issue was with my entree. I ordered the pasta primavera. On their menu, they have two pasta primavera options -- one with chicken and one without. They are two separate menu items. Considering that, I expected them to be prepared in two separate pots. So I ordered the pasta primavera, confirmed to the waiter "no chicken." My dish came out and there was a bunch of chicken in it. No big deal. They're busy, mistakes happen. I tell the waiter and we could actually hear him in the back yelling "hey I said no chicken!" A new plate came out a bit later. It looked okay at first glance, but after stirring it around a bit, there were 3 or 4 pieces of smaller chicken in it. Clearly, they had just removed the chicken from the original plate (and didn't do a good job doing so). At this point, I didn't want the waiter to get in trouble, so I didn't say anything else. But come on, guys. Why have two separate menu items, with one being chicken-free, if you obviously only have one pot of it in the back? For me, it was fine. I just didn't want chicken, but it wasn't going to kill me or anything. But what about someone who has an actual food allergy? Just a lawsuit...
Read moreWe just went here for our 3rd anniversary, it only opened a few weeks ago. We had this fantastic waiter, Chuck, who have us a quick history of the owners, they previously owned Gino's in Muskogee for 19 years and they have a Sicilian/Albanian background. The waiter himself has travelled through a lot of countries and has a ton a great stories and advice about travelling as well as his extensive time working for the owners. We asked what he recommended and he said the chicken piccata, so that's what I ordered. I'm half Italian, half Spanish, so I'm picky when it comes to Italian food, and let me tell you, this place hit the nail on the head. The chicken was beyond delicious and juicy and the sauce on the noodles was incredible. My wife had the shrimp appetizer with linguini noodles because she was craving a shrimp scampi, which they didn't have, but this came so very close. Needless to say, we used the fancy twisted butter bread they gave us to sop up the plate until there was nothing left but a clean plate. The prices average about $16-$17, but the serving size is well worth it!! We are now making this our go to Italian restaurant in broken arrow / Tulsa area. And plan to spend every anniversary going forward at this location. Thank you Chuck and Bruno's for making our special day that much...
