Service was really slow. The first glass of soda that i had had a crack in the bottom causing it to leak on me, so i said something to the server and she took it and said that she would bring me another one, thinking she would come right back with one. I waited and waited seeing her come back and forth but no drink. I was finally able to flag her down and ask her if i was going to get my cup back and she just started laughing and said oh yeah. She went back and i thought she was going to get me something to drink but i guess she disappeared into the back abyss about 5 mins later she comes back with our app and low and behold my drink. When our food finally came out both of my boys asked to have their cups refilled and the boy refilled one of theirs (I guess he could have put his try down for a min to take both cups) and came back for the other one and i guess the back abyss got him too beacuse he never brought his back either. I got the 6 oz serlion on the 2 for $22 and asked for med well and got severely well done. I tried to find our server and i guess the abyss got her again because she was no where to be found. Finally a manager pop out and I asked her about my sons drink and she started to run off and i tolded her dont run off yet. I showed her my steak and she said thats not med well and asked if i wanted them to redo it. I told her of course (why would i have brought it to her attention if i didnt) and asked if it was a 6 oz or 10 oz (correct me if i think to highly of management but shouldn't they know the difference between a 6 oz and 10 oz) so she disappeared into the abyss again and luckly for my son she came back out with his drink saying that the guy who took it just sat it down and forgot to bring it out. She brought a fresh one out which i was happy for since it had been about 10 to 15 mins later. So my family kept eating while i sat there and waited. About the time my family got done with their food my steak came out and the manager asked for me to cut into it to see if it was ok (which it was the same as the other one well done) i told her that it was ok because my boys where done eating and i didnt want to wait for another 20 mins to get another one. One question is if you are going to refire it why dont you bring the sides because by the time i got it the sides where cold. At the end of the meal the guy who brought out our food came back with my sons cup all watered down and said sorry that he forgot to bring it back. On the plus side my familys food was good so i guess you got that right. They did comp my steak...
Read moreEDIT: the regional management contacted me regarding this review and made sure to take careful notes in hopes of referring that information and coaching up their staff. (I added two stars which has mostly to do with Chili's now just not being what Chili's used to be and that's not going to get solved quickly)They did give me a little gift card action which has nothing to do with why I'm updating this review. I just wanted everyone to know that they did take action and the baby back ribs that I got with the gift certificate were great, the pickup was very smooth and felt safe considering these times. The to-go guy was especially nice to talk to and since I got free food he definitely got a nice tip. I won't remove the text below because I think people should be watchful and should speak out when they encounter situations that are just unacceptable in the retail and restaurant biz. Anywhere for that matter. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The excuse that was used by my waitress for the amazingly substandard service was that it was her last night and she was going to start school. I guess that's why she was at the bar drinking with her friends while she was waiting on us. All of this in plain view as if it didn't really mean anything. The food that was brought to us was cold and had obviously been sitting in the window until it died. I've been in the restaurant business 25 years and had I managed that restaurant the way that I ran the other successful restaurants in my career, there would have been at least three people fired that night. Read moreHow do I start to explain how disappointed I am in this establishment? How about the fact it's called Chilis and there chili is subpar to word it nicely. Now to be fair I've only ate here 4 times and one time I actually had pretty mediocre service, the other 3 times where lacking in all areas. The last time I visited I took out a few friends and we for the most part had a good time as a group, however it was hard to get service, all of our orders where wrong (pretty sure the tables got mixed up because the people behind me had what I wanted and didn't seem happy about it) and you know that happens, however the waitress (useing that word loosely) was above and beyond rude when we brought it up... so much she just completely left us alone 100% no service, I had to pull another waitress over to ask about getting the bill... she couldn't be bothered with that though. We where there so long the bust boy actually asked us to leave... at this point I still haven't got a bill mind you. I explained this to the man and he told be he'd get the manager.... 30 minutes later they told us it was time for them to close and we needed to go! I was flabbergasted.
