Service was terrible at our table. Our waitress apologized when she came to our table for letting us sit for several minutes before taking our drink order. We are awards members and received one free entre. We printed the coupon. We gave it to our waitress when she took our drink order. 10 minutes later when she finally brought our drinks she apologized again for the long wait. She said she had no idea how to enter the free awards member certificate. We finally ordered our breakfast. She apologized again when she brought the food. There was another couple that was seated the same time us. They were almost finished with their meal when we received ours. They had a different waiter. He actually carrier a pitcher of coffee with him when he greeted his customers. Halfway thru our meal I needed some butter and my husband needed more syrup for his pancakes. Our waitress was at the booth next to ours speaking with the group that was seated there. They were inviting her to church and she was telling them about her life when she was younger...etc. We are religious people as well. But she talked to them for at least ten minutes. I tried to get her attention twice but she was in total conversation . The hostess came by to seat a family and we asked her for some butter and syrup. We received it quickly. Our waitress ended the conversation with when she saw the hostess bring us our condiments. I never received a warm up on my coffee. Very poor service from...
Read moreMy family and i went here today because my dad wanted to go here for breakfast. The restaurant was unusual empty as we arrive around 8am. Usually the parking lot is packed. I personally thought the waitress we had was terrible. We where seated and she took our drink order. She said she would be right back to take our order. While we where waiting other tables where being filled by customers and there waiters and waitresses where on top of getting there drinks, but also getting there orders. So 10 give or take minutes go by and she finally came back. We gave her our order. My wife and father several times had to flag her down for more coffee. She spilt coffee on the table while filling up their cups. As other tables around us who arrived well after we did where being served there food we continued to wait. Finally our food came out and it was pretty good. She disappeared again while we ran out of water and my wife was frustrated about not keeping her coffee full. My wife and I take my dad out to breakfast every Sunday morning and this is by far the worst place we have ate at. 100% due to the poor service. It was a waste of...
Read moreBreakfast is LIFE!! The other day Wifey and I went to start out day Jimmy's Egg off 71st and Garnett. If you’ve not been in before it has some vibes reminiscent of First Watch or Dennys in the 1980s before it got gross. It’s welcoming and feels local, even though it’s a chain. It’s local to us as it started in OKC back in the 80s.
Anyway, we had excellent service (yes we tipped well for those who feel the need to virtue signal on food reviews ;)) and it elevated our overall experience. I had a cup of coffee that was kept full as it should be until it was time to leave.
You can see the pics. We had omelettes and hash browns. I had the Philly cheese steak and wifey had the Baja omelette minus tomatoes. At the end of the day is the hasbrowns are cooked all the way, they’re good. Ours were done properly and a solid crunch. Remember it’s hash browns not hash tans 😉. Our cylindrical meat and cheese filled eggs 🍳 were also quite enjoyable. Big and filled with delicious ingredients.
All this to say, it’s a solid place to get some breakfast or brunch and...
