The Daily is one of those rare places that perfectly blends atmosphere, quality, and service into an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the modern yet cozy design. The warm lighting, minimalist decor, and inviting layout make it an ideal spot for both casual brunches and relaxed dinners.
The menu at The Daily is thoughtfully curated and offers a fresh, seasonal selection of dishes made with high-quality ingredients. I started my meal with an avocado toast topped with poached eggs and microgreens — it was flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully plated. For the main course, I had their signature grain bowl with roasted vegetables, quinoa, and lemon tahini dressing — healthy, satisfying, and absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and it was crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor.
Coffee lovers will appreciate their excellent selection of specialty coffees and teas. I had a flat white, and it was one of the best I've had in the city — smooth, rich, and perfectly crafted. They also offer fresh-squeezed juices and creative mocktails, which is a great bonus for those who want non-alcoholic options.
What truly makes The Daily stand out is the attentive and friendly staff. Our server was knowledgeable, polite, and genuinely passionate about the food. The service was efficient without feeling rushed, and everyone made us feel welcome from start to finish.
The Daily also caters well to dietary preferences, with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu. The prices are reasonable for the quality and experience you get.
In short, The Daily is more than just a place to eat — it’s a destination for those who appreciate good food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere. Whether you're meeting friends, enjoying a solo breakfast, or planning a weekend brunch, this spot delivers every time. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreWe tried this place for breakfast. It is a franchise with shops in Hilton Head, Portland, and elsewhere. Traditional eggs with bacon, hashbrowns and toast with coffee (served only on weekends). Orders are placed and paid for at a counter for delivery to your table. Eggs were done correctly; bacon was great; toast was crisp; potatoes were, as another reviewer said, rubbery in texture. I have the impression that they are pre-cooked and re-heated in a microwave oven, giving them that unfortunate texture. The kitchen seemed a bit slow. This is a coffeshop with food from a limited menu -- if you like coffee in a cardboard cup. We saw scads of flavorings for coffee, but normal house blend is from self-serve thermos containers. Tables, booths, and couch seating was a nice variety. Place looks quite clean. We saw 7 employees including two cooks and a dishwasher. The wait staff did a lot of that: waiting. Too many employees milling around in their more than ample domain. One final note: Our bill for two identical breakfasts came to $29.16 -- a bit pricey for...
Read moreI cannot recommend this place enough! The curb appearance is absolutely lovely, clean, and welcoming. The interior is just as great, it was a very cozy, warm environment.
The staff were all relatively young, and they were absolutely professional, polite, and courteous throughout the whole experience. They gave recommendations from their menu, asked the right questions that helped decide our order, and gave above and beyond service! I'm so happy that this business is teaching the youth proper people and communication skills while also learning to work together to create a strong team - someone was always there assisting their peer! I've noticed other places don't have this type of standard anymore, and I'm so happy to see this being applied so well here!
The food was also delicious and served quickly. My siblings enjoyed their meals and finished everything (which says a lot, due to one being a picky 7 year old!) We all agreed the whole experience was wonderful, and we'll definitely be back to support this...
