We were on the road for 2 hour hours and stopped at Jimmy John's for late lunch (around 3:30pm). I ordered a #9 and I made sure to be specific and asked the man at the counter "light mayo, oil AND onions." The other man listening to me when I said #9 got to work right away. The man used just a plain spatula (not the scooper which is supposed to be used) and put more than extra mayo on. It was odd, but then I had to pay for my food and didn't pay attention to what he was putting on it. It was until I got home and I was just in pure disbelief. Not only I said light mayo and there was extra mayo, I also said light onions and there were so much onions, I had to pick them off. What then pissed me off is that the man put pickles on my sandwich! On a #9!? I used to work at the Jimmy John's in New Berlin and I know that the #9 does not get pickles. Unless there was a menu change I don't know about, what was the point of pickles?? My whole sandwich tasted like pickles. What's worse is that I don't like pickles. I debated about throwing it away and just having Ramen noodles at home. Hopefully someone who owns this store sees this review and teaches the workers to make the food as the customers want. If my boss saw that, she probobly would've told me to either study the menu some more or just clock out and go home. And it still irritates me to this day that they don't use the mayo scooper to portion out the mayo. Like I said, I used to work at Jimmy John's. Not using the mayo scooper irritated me then and...
Read moreI placed an order for delivery on Sunday at around 11:30 in the morning. My order went out for delivery around 12:15 and I kept an eye out for it since I had marked to leave it at the door. It was marked delivered at 12:45, but was not left at my door. I figured it was accidentally left at a neighbors and walked up and down my street looking, but did not see any Jimmy John’s at any home on my street.
I called the store shortly after and the person on the phone said it was marked delivered so I needed to check again. I informed him of my efforts and he said he’d have to talk to the driver and call me back.
I never received a phone call back and never received my order. I reported this issue to Jimmy John’s corporate and have yet to receive any kind of response or reimbursement. I guess I’m out $15. I do not recommend a location that does not communicate with their customers, believe their customers when they report a problem, or reimburse a customer that was wrongly charged for a product they did not receive. I’ve always loved Jimmy John’s since I’ve lived near their headquarters in Champaign, Illinois and have been a loyal supporter. I assume that the driver delivered my food to another location by mistake, but I should not have to pay for that error. This experience has been extremely disappointing at a local and corporate level.
Here we are 5 days later and it has been radio silence. No follow up or attempt to make it right, even after 3 attempts to...
Read moreNormally I love JJs because they get your food to you quick... and I’m not one to complain. I like writing good reviews not bad. But I placed an order before my lunch break at work thinking the food would be there when I went on lunch... my work is about 5 min from this location. After about 45 min my order tracker said delivered but I did not have my food. I called the store and they said the driver was called back to the store and it would be there soon. After another 30 min still no food and my lunch break was long over....so I called and asked to cancel my order and get a refund... I was hung up on. I contacted customer support and was told I would get refunded... it’s been almost two weeks of back and forth with them telling me my refund is coming..... super...
