Ok, so we're from out of town. Now, I know this is a small town McD's, but I don't think that had much to do with our experience.
We ordered two nugget Happy Meals, 3 McChickens, and one cheeseburger. We were asked to pull forward for fresh chicken patties. No problem at all.
About 10 minutes later, a young woman comes out to ask if we had the 2 McRibs and so on. I say no, and I start to ask if we can at least get the Happy Meals, because my children had had the dream of the golden arches dangled in front of them, and their temperaments we're dwindling. The employee walks away while I'm speaking, but no big. They're fairly busy, she's got stuff going on.
Another 15 minutes go by, and a young man comes out and asks if we had the two McRibs and so on. Again, I say no, and tell him what we had, and again start to ask for the Happy Meals, and again, my speaking is ignored.
Another 10 minutes go buy, the second guy comes back and informs us that our order had been given to someone else, and he has a clipboard to write my order down. I recite it again, and then request a partial refund. He informs we they don't do refunds, and laughs at me. I inform him that, at this point, we've been waiting half an hour for food that is normally kept hot and ready at any McD's.
This man... This absolute unit LOOKS AT HIS NUDE, WATCHLESS WRIST, and chuckles to himself, and says "I mean I guess we could give you something free..."
I reply with "fine. Surprise me."
He laughs again, and goes off to get the order, which he returned with in mere seconds, telling me the food had likely been ready the whole time.
I mean seriously. The dude checked his no watch to verify my timing. We left after 50 minutes of waiting for the...
Read moreI am only giving this McDonald's a 3 star rating because I have yet again received a messed up order. It's not like I live right down the street either. I went through the drive through at 10:39AM today Dec.7, 2017. I first tried to order chicken strips, but yet again I get "I'm sorry, but we are currently out of chicken strips".... This is an on going issue here. So instead I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich meal with NO MAYO and add bacon....large with a sweet tea half cut no ice and a couple tubs of ranch. Yes I realize I am picky and yes the order was right on the screen. Anyway when I get home and sit down to eat I realize my sandwich has Mayo and doesn't have any bacon. It isn't worth my time or gas to drive back over to fix the sandwich and of course (like an idiot) I trusted them to make it right the first time so I didn't ask for my receipt. Never again! For now on I keep my receipts and check my order before driving home. I would say I won't go back, but my kids love the chicken nuggets lol. Last time we were there as a family the guy at the counter didn't read back the order, didn't put my daughter's large fries on the order, and put one of the large meals as a regular. I get things get busy and things get overlooked as I have worked in fast food before, but it's...
Read moreWent today to get lunch. We had a rather big order as we grabbed lunch for 5 adults. My husband orders a number 7 with no cheese and added a mcchicken. Not only did is burgers have cheese on them but a dot of ketchup and a dot of mustard, burger half off and more pickles than burger. He orders without cheese due to an allergen. Got half way to our destination and his Sandwhich has cheese. I take it back and I’m assuming the manager wanted to argue with me over the burgers. When someone says no to something always assume it’s an allergen to be safe. I asked the manager would she rather fix half of the order or be responsible for a medical bill as this could have been avoided. At that point she got an attitude and remade the burgers and he also got his McChicken which they failed to put with the order as well. Even the receipt had a mcchicken and a number 7 without cheese. Eating out with food allergies is stressful enough as we have kiddos with food allergies as well. I’m also not about to argue with her over there mistake. This is actually the second time he’s ordered a number 7 and it’s come with cheese. Get it together and pay attention. Especially when they can’t use the excuse...
