Starbucks — Restaurant in Brookings Township

This Starbucks is located inside of Hyvee and does NOT have a drive through. Once you get inside the store, it is right in the front through the doors. Also keep in mind that this location gets a lot of traffic being located in a strip mall and the parking lot gets quite packed. Would be nice if they were able to move to a bigger location. I have gotten a coffee from here a few times while I went shopping and haven't had any issues with their service or the quality of the drinks. Because I am treating myself, I normally get a fancier type of coffee than just a regular cup of joe. I have also had the baristas make my girls a non caffenated drink similar to what I get and they are always super helpful in picking that out for them. I do feel that Starbucks is quite expensive so I save up gift cards and such from Verizon or other sources before deciding to stop in. This location always has some little tables and shelves set up with Starbucks items that are for sale as well. I think they have a decent menu. A little smaller than ones I have been to that are a stand alone shops, but enough options to find...

Always a friendly face and greeting despite how some customers ahead and behind me treated staff during the long wait...people forget we are still in a pandemic and staffing is short everywhere, orders will take a bit...staff maintained professionalism despite these Karen's complaining and making it an uncomfortable situation but don't worry girl, I gave her a mouthful and said what you and the rest of the customers couldn't say!!!...all while I waited patiently for my coffee...keep up the great work and kill'em...

What happened to the old manager Karen that was there for many years? She actually knew customer service and how to get the drinks out in a timely manner and always with a smile on her face. None of the workers there now know what they’re doing or how to make a drink. Every time I come here, they always mess it up horribly. And it takes 10 minutes for them to hand me my coffee, even when I’m the only person waiting in line. They’re all too busy talking to each other and hardly even acknowledge...
