This is the most underrated place I've ever been. I've been all over Asia, Europe and some places in the middle east. Until this point I thought the best chicken I've had was at Jollibee, but this place is right up there in taste and quality . The chicken is very flavorful lightly coated, fried to perfection. You get that thin crispy coating and juicy inside. The sides are also phenomenal and different. You can choose from fries, yuka fries, fried plantains, rice and some other stuff including a chopped salad. There's also a grilled chicken version. They also serve empanadas which were so flaky and well made with a smoky pepper flavor. The place is super clean and modern. The service was excellent and very attentive to detail. Pollo Campero serves the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Hands down. From the moment I took that first bite, I knew I was tasting something next-level. The crust is outrageously crispy,perfectly golden and seasoned with just the right amount of spice. It’s that kind of crunch that makes your eyes go wide.

But it’s not just about the crunch. The chicken inside is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor all the way through. You can tell it’s marinated well, not just surface-level seasoning. Every bite feels like it was cooked with love and tradition and the side such as rice, plantain and coleslaw are better combinations.

We have been awaiting for this place to open for some time now. After opening we noticed the heavy volume and wanted to wait a couple weeks to not experience the growing pains a new restaurant faces after its grand opening. Our roommate came home with a large order this evening to share. While it had sat in to go packaging for some time before we dug in I have to say it is by far better than any of the competitors nearby. The chicken has a unique seasoning that goes straight to the bone. As I mentioned it sat for a while but was fantastic and I can only imagine fresh out of the fryer must be insanely good.
