One star seems to be an overstatement at this point. Personally, I would rate them ZERO stars, if that was an option, of course. Never in my life have I, to this extent, been mistreated and disrespected as a customer before. For the past few years, I have been a regular at this location and have never encountered any issues until recently.
There’s this employee who is really DISRESPECTFUL and has a horrible attitude. Don’t know what her name is, but another employee said they couldn’t provide me with that info, given the fact that she’s still a minor. She’s light skinned, has curly hair, and was serving the rice, beans and meat today (06/22/2022) around 6:40 p.m.
I keep an account of all the rude instances I’ve encountered with her, and below are just a few. Bare in mind, these are all separate incidents.
Always ask for and look at your receipt!! I do not do reviews ever but I'm so annoyed after my last experiece here. I feel the need to review. I ordered a chicken bowl for myself and a kids meal for my daughter. I go to sit down with my daughter to eat and I look at my receipt. The cashier charged me for extra chicken. I went up and asked him why he charged me for extra chicken. I said I did not ask for extra chicken. He looks at the lady who made my food and asks her.. like I'm lying or something?! And he also makes her feel awkward. She told him no. It seemed to me he had decided on his own by watching how she scooped the chicken. It was not busy at the time. While the lady was finishing my food, I tried to tell the cashier my order when I got to him and he ignored me and was watching her. Cashier needs to be trained on how to communicate on what was ordered. Usually extra chicken is written on the lid and it was NOT. Because it was NOT ordered.
Next.. this is where the story gets more rediculous. He grabs a lady to help with my refund. She takes a while because there is a guy trying to use a coupon on his phone so we have to wait for him. My food is getting cold and my 3 year old daughter is waiting for me. Then she comes over and hands me my "refund receipt". I look at it for a while.. because I'm confused. It says REFUND 0.00. I'm like she did not actually give me this refund receipt that says ZERO. So I go back up and ask for her again and she has to get another lady to help. The lady says she didn't refund it properly. So that lady gives me cash back and all seems fixed but my food is cold and my meal with my daughter is non existent after all this shenanigans.
OH WAIT there is more. I check my credit card balance the next day and there is a charge on my card for the 3.53 for the extra chicken that she supposedly refunded that first time but she actually re-charged me! So now they still owe me a refund.
Oh and when I got my daughters quesadilla open it was overcooked so the cheese all ran out and fried to the tin foil. I opened it up and it was an empty hard quesadilla. Literally no cheese inside. (I understand it happens sometimes but it was what happens next that is upsetting) I showed the lady when she brought my 0.00 refund receipt and told her about this quesadilla. She laughed awkwardly and turned around and left without a word. I could not believe my eyes how she acted!! I took cheese off my bowl and put it inside my daughter's tortilla for her. She clearly does not know how customer service works. I will never return.. all this shenanigans completely...
Read moreYesterday 2/13 around noon I had placed large order online for pick up same day at 5:15pm as i was planning a Birthday party that evening. I placed the order and paid for it online, and received a confirmation email.
When it came time to pick up the order, the manager at the Brooklyn Park location told my husband that they couldn't fill the large order. He went on saying that if he filled the order, his line will be out the door. The manager went on saying that for the large order (16) we should have gone with the catering option however, it would have required 24 hour notice. He offered 1 free burrito for not being able to fill the order but what would 1 free burrito do for trying to feed 16 people!
I had placed large orders before but from different chipotle loctions and had never had any issues. So I expected the same results this time as I would any other time.
It was disappointing is the FACT that out order was placed since NOON and NO ONE at the location even called us to tell us the order couldn't be filled. And if we would have had a courtesy call, we would have figured out a different solution. We drove out to walk out empty handed and to be embarrassed that our order was cancelled on the spot. This ruined our party and we had to find an alternative.
We have always had very good experience with chipotle but this experience has shown the worst of customer service. We will never go back to the Brooklyn...
