I just, less than 5 minutes ago, got off the phone with a woman at the restaurant. I had placed an order with DoorDash for dinner. The restaurant hours online says Buenos Tiempos is open until 12 midnight. I received a text from DoorDash saying that they canceled my order due to âan unexpected restaurant closure.â That is when I decided to innocently call the restaurant to double check their hours. The woman answered and I stated that DoorDash canceled my order and asked if there was another delivery company they use since my DoorDash order was canceled. She misheard and went on and on about how she doesnât know of anyone else in the area who delivers food this late, very put out by even having to speak to me. I simply stated to the woman that I meant companies like DoorDash who pick up from them so I could order food. She annoyingly responded to me that she didnât know what I was saying because it was too loud with the jukebox. I waited until she said she could hear me and repeated that I was really looking forward to my dinner and was hoping to get their food delivered. I asked if any other places pick up from them since DoorDash said they had an âunexpected closure.â She then began to yell at me, saying that she told DoorDash that their kitchen was closed and didnât know what else to tell me and itâs not her fault DoorDash said that. I responded by saying that at no time did she or DoorDash clarify that the kitchen was closed and therefore she did not need to yell at or be rude to me - as I was simply trying to figure out what happened and how I could fix it. The woman had the nerve to tell me that I was the one being rude to her. I responded by reiterating that she said she couldnât hear me, so I was speaking up. Her tone, customer service and communication skills need some serious work. Totally unnecessary and out of line for her to react to me in such a manner. I eat from and order from here often. Itâs a shame they have staff who do not care about...

Weâve been loyal customers of Buenos Tiempos for over 30 years, and in all that time, weâve never had a bad experienceânot once! That kind of track record is almost unheard of, and it speaks volumes about the heart and dedication behind this local treasure.
Unlike the big chain restaurants where youâre just another receipt, the Owner and Staff at Buenos Tiempos make you feel like family every single visit. They always greet you with genuine warmth, and you can tell they truly appreciate your patronage. That personal touch is something weâve cherished for decades.
The food? Always fresh, always hot, and always delicious. It might sound like a basic expectation, but letâs be honestânot every place gets it right. Buenos Tiempos nails it every time. And letâs talk tasteâbecause this is where they truly shine. The flavors are amazing, the dishes are made with care, and the portions are generous without being over the top. You leave happy, full, and satisfiedânot frustrated and still hungry like at the chain spots.
One of the most impressive things is their consistency. In 30+ years, our favorite dishes have never changed in quality or flavor. That kind of dependability is rare and a huge reason we keep coming back.
And the cherry on top? The owner personally checks in to make sure your evening is going well and that you have everything you need. That gesture alone tells you everything you need to know: Buenos Tiempos caresâand it absolutely shows.
Whether youâre a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and make the trip. You wonât be disappointed. Buenos Tiempos is the real dealâand itâs been proving it for over...
Read moreI have been coming to Buenos Tiempos since 2016 when I moved into the neighborhood. Buenos Tiempos means Good Times in Spanish and is reminiscent of the classic television series. There is a cast of colorful regulars who frequent the bar. However, newcomers will be met with open arms as well. Half of the place is sit down dining and the other half features a small bar and lounge with pool tables. The establishment hosts regular pool leagues and poker nights throughout the week. There is also a cozy outdoor patio and smoking room attached to the back of the restaurant. My favorite aspect of Buenos Tiempos has to be the staff though. Deidra is a real sweetheart who works hard and genuinely cares about her clientele. Cathy keeps it light and always has a smile on her face. Wendy's personality bubbles with joy as her bright eyes sparkle through her spectacles. Heather owns the joint and runs an efficient establishment that has a lively, friendly, happy atmosphere without being pretentious. As for the food, they feature some American classics however I prefer the Mexican fare. Their head chef Jose is from Mexico and he fixes up delicious platters of Mexican staples like enchiladas, tacos, and chimichangas. If you are thirsty they make a mean margarita, as well as have a few beers on tap to compliment their bottle beer selections. Lastly, they do have a juke box. Traffic seems to be a favorite and rest assured whomever kept playing the 9 minute Arlo Guthrie tune Alice's Restaurant on repeat seems to have moved on. Definitely recommend this place for any seekers of...
