Chop Shop Casual Urban Eatery — Restaurant in Broomfield

Tonight is my wife and mine’s anniversary so we decided to go someplace new and low key. We had heard some good stuff about the Chop Shop from others so figured why not. I had looked at the menu beforehand and had some things that looked good. I didn’t see an adult beverage list so almost changed my mind. Glad I didn’t! When we got there we saw a small menu with adult beverages. Nothing crazy, but good enough for something with your meal. This is not a big place and when we got there around 6:30 pm, it was pretty busy, a good sign. For those of you familiar with the Broomfield area, the Chop Shop is where the old KT’s BBQ used to be. Anyways, you place your order at the front counter, get a number and go find a place to sit. They do have some outside seating, but we chose a booth inside. I ordered the Chop Burger and my wife ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf. She got the frozen berry margarita and I got a whiskey mule. Drinks got us pretty quick and the whiskey mule was great!!! They use Tincup whiskey which really gave it a good flavor. The margarita was also tasty. The meatloaf my wife got was great!!! They use Bbq sauce on it and it was moist and tender. Came with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. It’s also sprinkled with french fried onions, which they make in house, and those were delicious. I wish I had ordered this, the bite I had was really good! My burger wasn’t bad, a little over cooked, but still had good flavor. I chose tater tots as my side and those were nice, hot, and crispy. Good stuff! The gentleman who took our order, Alberto, was cleaning up outside and asked how are meals were. He actually got upset with me that I didn’t say something about my burger, they would have made me a fresh one. Told him I was hungry and it was still good. Alberto talked with us for quite a while which was nice. When my wife told him we were there for our anniversary, he was so happy we chose them for our special night. He then proceeded to go get us a desert so the Chop Shop could celebrate with us. Seriously, what place does that anymore? If the owners are reading this, Alberto helps make your restaurant a great place. He enjoys talking about the restaurant and is so friendly!! Really made for a great experience.

I highly recommend the Chop Shop! It has a smaller menu, but that means stuff is going to be fresher. Our meals and drinks were good and had good flavor. We will definitely be going back to eat here, I want to try the French Dip, or maybe the grilled chicken. This is a great place!!! Go eat...

The food is great. The service is professional and the staff go above and beyond. I visited here many times before, but this visit sticks out. Wes B was at the counter. I could tell that this place was taking care of a big order when I was walking into the restaurant. Before I ordered Wes was clear with me that they had a big order going out and it may take a few extra minutes on my order. I did not mind because the food is worth it. As a mater of fact it is comforting to know that they are doing such large volume of business. If you eat here you will know why they are so busy. Wes kept me informed of my order status while I waited. Wes updated me a few times then when he brought out my order he thanked me for waiting and for stoping in. He he also made sure I had everything I needed. Every time I am here the staff have a smile and they have always been client service oriented. ( By the way the wait was very minimal maybe an extra two or three minutes). My food was hot and prepared with care as the kitchen always does here...

My husband and I stopped in for lunch at Chop Shop in Broomfield last week, and it was a fantastic experience! We were on the lookout for a sit-down or fast-casual restaurant that serves big salads, and Chop Shop came up in my search. I was thrilled to see a new dining option in Broomfield.

I had the Roasted Sirloin French Dip, and it was cooked to perfection. The mushrooms and melty cheese on top added so much flavor, and the sandwich was absolutely delicious. I paired it with the parmesan fries, which were equally tasty. My husband opted for the Asian Chop Salad, topped with crispy fried chicken and tofu, and he loved it. He said it was exactly what he was looking for and will definitely order it again.

The food was delicious, and the staff and owner were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend eating here and will definitely be returning. Chop Shop is a great addition to the Broomfield...
