Mandy's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Brownsburg

Did not have a pleasant first experience here last weekend. The supposedly hard ice cream was barely harder than soft serve, it wasn't being served in scoops so much as just being slopped into the bowl because it was so soft. My husband and I both ordered 2 'scoops'. The lady handed my husband his and then disappeared to the back of the store. He stepped to the register, the guy looked over to see what I was getting and said 'so a double and a triple', husband said 'no two doubles', cashier kinda snottily said 'that's a triple'. When the guy handed me my bowl, we realized my husband did get a larger one. We could have argued he ordered a double and make them fix it or refuse to pay for more than we ordered, but we figured why hold up the line so we just paid for a triple and left. When my husband got about 1/3 of the way through his ice cream, we were able to see that she had given him a double and then she put the double dish inside a triple one, but did not tell the cashier what she did before she disappeared. 🍨 OMGOSH this place is so amazing! Full disclosure...I LOVE ice cream.🍧 It's EASILY my favorite dessert, hot or cold temperatures outside, does not matter! They have a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from, including superman🦸which hits me with the nostalgia. I have a preteen daughter and obviously she HAD TO TRY IT. I went the first time and had no idea what the heck to order and the young man that was working was SO HELPFUL.
