It was my first time here this evening. After living in the DFW area for 17 years, I was looking forward to having a good steak. Started off with the stuffed mushrooms with crab meat. We were off to a bad start when they arrived. Menu did not say they had cheese. As someone who is lactose intolerant I had to back away when they arrived. Fortunately my sister was able to enjoy them. I ordered the crab cakes instead. They were excellent. I had the boneless ribeye with Brussel sprouts and wild rice as my main dish. The sides were ok, but Brussel sprouts were a bit too sweet (Chef: try adding balsamic vinegar to dressing to balance taste for a phenomenal flavor). Ribeye was ordered medium. Flavor was good, but texture was a bit tough and chewy. Service staff was friendly, but not attentive enough for the price you pay. For some reason our table had a lot of knats flying around which we had to shoo. Waitress apologized and said someone at our table before us had spilled some wine. I'm still wondering what wine has to do with knats. Despite that, I still left my typical 20% tip. Would I come back? No! This place is not III Forks, Bob's Steakhouse, AL Bernat's or Chamberlain's Chophouse which were my favorites when I lived in DFW. For the price they charge, they've got a long way to go. I'll just spend my $$$ buying my own steaks and grilling them at home. I know I can count on the flavor, texture,...

Work Monday-Sat and decide to treat myself to an amazing Sunday dinner. Walked in to a pretty quiet restaurant alone and sat down at the bar. Ordered calamari and was impressed. Calamari was cooked well with a meaty marinara sauce.
I decided to order their ultimate filet mignon (don’t remember the menu name). I ordered it medium rare with steak fries and asparagus. When the food came out, i noticed the steak was bleu instead of medium rare. I started off with the fries and they were amazing, asparagus was done extremely well. The steak however, needs its own description.
It was covered what looked to be minced crab meat. The steak itself was foul and taste of road kill. I actually wasn’t sure if i was eating beef or a dead animal scraped off the road. The food was presentable though.
Recommendations to readers, if your feet wet in post apocalyptic rotten flesh consumption, this is your spot. Again, this was just this particular item off the menu. I heard the other place on the island was better. For me, this ends my experience with Liam’s steakhouse.
Cliff notes: My 2¢

Read moreWe were so looking forward to go to a good steak restaurant and were quiet disappointed. The prices were on a higher level, I ordered a dozen fresh oysters, a rib eye medium with Brussel sprouts and French fries, my husband Mahi Mahi filet with a baked potatoe. The oysters had no saltwater left inside, they tasted very blend , they were fresh but i missed the ocean saltwater taste completeky. My steak was almost well done, so the very nice server took it back to the kitchen. We had to wait another almost 20 min, till my second steak came, my husband was waiting for me so his food git cold already. The steak again had almost no blood or pink in it, the Brussel sprouts were now almost charred and burned , smothered with honey. The side salad had a very moldy taste, my husband's fish was good, but drowned in a cheese sauce..we paid over $160 , the only thing which was really good was the bread and the butter and the awesome service of this young woman whose name I forgot, sorry for that. We will not recommend this restaurant to anybody. The atmosphere was very pleasant though, but too dark to...
