I usually never do this but.... Last Saturday we ordered a parrillada mixta from El Asador. If we order a parrillada this is where we normally get it, be it for work or for the house. Well everything was delicious except for the ribs, the ribs had a funky smell and a funkier taste. So we called them and let them know. Person who answered the phone said they would give us credit for it if we wanted to pick up other ones. My husband asked him if he wanted us to take the ribs back guy said no for us to dispose of them. We were eating at this point so my husband told him we were in the middle of lunch and that everything else was super good. The guy offered to take his name down and that they would grant us a discount next time we ordered. So today I decided to order again. When I mentioned about the discount no one knew what I was talking about. They passed the phone to whom I assume was the owner. He began to tell me that he had no other customer complain about ribs being bad. That he can not take the word of everyone that states the food is bad. That we should have taken the food back so that he could analyze it. I told him his employee told us to discard the ribs. He began to tell me that someone had once called the next day saying food was bad and I clarified that I called minutes after picking up my food. I told him it was 3 ribs that were bad. I am not asking for a full refund. I also made it clear that everything else was super good. If I wanted to take advantage I would be demanding for a full refund. At the end I told him I had no time nor need to be fighting over 3 ribs. Cancel my order and I will never order from here again. Needless to say when I told my coworker about the incident she told me she had a problem where they failed to give her an order of panchos. She called to let them know. They tell her they will take her name for next time she ordered they would give her the panchos and when next time came around they refused to give them to her stating they had no notes or recollection of incident. I would always highly recommend this place. As of today I will not only not recommend it, I will let people know of this bad service and I will no longer...
Read moreI ordered a parrillada for 4 and a queso with chorizo in it. The man in the phone was nice. When I arrived to the Alton Gloor location the drive thru had a few vehicles. I decided to park and get down for my orders as soon as I get to the doors there was this young man telling me “ hey you need to go to the drive thru”! He didn’t ask me about my order or why I was there. Just said I had to go to the drive thru and it was policy. There was a young lady there from next door (Westlake Dentist). I told the young man” she’s waiting here for her order” he said “ yeah well she’s from next door” he then preceded to the door and practically pushed me out with the door and told me to go to the drive thru! Read moreFirst off we called on the phone for an order of the Nachos with avocado & they told us it would be done in 15 minutes, we showed up and they didn't even start on the order!! They probably thought we were gonna dip or something, but regardless they don't make orders unless you show up first I guess whoever the nachos tasted good but the service was very bad let me explain:
when we looked at the menu online it says 15.99 Pancho's with avacado already included then when we show up the lady said it's 18.00plus tax we said why well because the avacado is 1.99 extra ok...
