Taquito Express — Restaurant in Brownsville

This is the second time I visit the place to see if it redeemed itself from my last visit. Unfortunately it was worse this time. We ordered our food and waited 30 minutes only to see two tables that arrived 10 minutes after us get served. We brought this fact to our waitress attention only to be rudely talked back to that they arrived before us. I told her she was wrong and she is giving rude customer service and I immediately asked to speak to the manager. She rudely stated she next door let me go get her. I followed her outside as she got the manager from the business next door she started trying to justify her rude customer service and I told her I am talking to your manager, not you and she again interrupted and said aren't you going to let me talk to her I said no you had your chance I did discuss the situation with the manager. even though the manager was very polite and did try to correct the issue, I do not recommend this place. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere. the food is not that great as you can tell from there's a customer service for the price they charge. there are other places I have reviewed if you wish to check that are better customer service wise, less expensive and the food is a lot better tasting...

Great tacos. The tortillas are homemade (in restaurant, not purchased), non greasy and delicious. The tacos are like little, fluffy, stuffed goodness in your mouth. They don’t make you feel heavy or bloated from grease. They’re simply delicious! They have an all you can eat buffet of various tacos such as pollo en mole, pollo pibil, fajita, tripa, cochinita pibil, bistek, pastor, molleja, barbacoa, desabrada, and much more. The staff is friendly and very polite. There’s also this bar, called TheBar located right next door and they deliver your food next door if you want to go to the Bar and shoot some pool, play darts, listen to music, or just drink a beer. Aside from tacos they also make some delicious, papas asadas just like you’d get in Mexico. The potatoes are huge and stuff with all the fixings and bistek. HORRIBLE! Used to be my favorite taco place and I would travel 8 hours to eat here but NOT ANYMORE! They changed the quality of their food and it’s trash now. The prices went crazy high. (I think it’s almost cheaper to eat at Texas roadhouse house than here). The regular bistek tacos lost their taste and now they’re plainnnn. The tripa is DISGUSTING! If you want caca filled tripa, go here. They used to have the besttt tripa and now it’s horrible, it left my hands smelling like actual cow feces for hourssss after washing my hands. -1938859/10 never returning, OH! And the drinking water taste like they got it from the toilet👎
