Freaking Mold clusters, fuzzy n black Mold or medew it was bad in cabinet and AC unit, badly rusty hinges, omg lets not get on the roaches ,tiny bugs crawling on chair I put it in the hall and broken chair in our room which was a safety hazard. They are everywhere the halls, walls, rooms. Hall ways were hot except the first floor. Bath towels had stains, and alot on it hair. Bedding cover sheets stained as well as the box spring cover. The pillows are small and uncomfortable. The floor corners, walls and boarders are filthy. Counters were not wiped off. A/c had water running all on the floor. Its hot on the 2nd & 3rd and second floor halls with Roach everywhere. Woke up to roach above my head board and crawling on my mirror. My kids and I have bad allergies ,asthma and we have a CPA machine here with us. My kids were coughing and sneezing all night and I couldn't sleep. I'm 2weeks out from surgery on my arm, I dont need any bites or anything getting on my arm. But I literally tried my best to bleach and clean up the room but it needs more work done and freaking battery for the smoke alarm I stopped cause my hands and arms were starting to hurt worse than the already are. I opened the window to air out the room before I went to get my kids out my dad room down the hall. Which his room has mold all in the A/c unit like mines and get this no microwave or mini fridge. I've never seen a motel 6/ motel 6 studio without it. This is a total nightmare and we have traveled over 10 hrs and have to be here 4days. There's no other rooms available near the stadium for the state meet.the GM was rude he had a smerk on his face the whole time I was showing ing pictures of what's wrong in the room. He said I just wanted a free room, I said I already paid y'all in full for 2 rooms for our stay what do mean free. It's the fact that the hotel was room were nasty. Then they half clean what all I hadn't already cleaned. When I checked out I asked for the manager cause he didn't do all he said he was gone do if I agreed to pay at least half on both rooms which I did. You can post pictures of beautiful rooms and then expect someone not to say anything about it. They should be shut done cause that's definitely not up to code. I have pictures and video to back it up but the customer number for wouldn't do...

Rooms are mediocre at best, towels are thin and worn out and so small that an adult will most likely want 2. The floors are filthy, I walk in my shower shoes in especially in the room. First day there, they stuck me in a room that didn't have a working tv, and they knew it because they even took the remote out of the room, I didn't find out until after I unpacked... grrr.. they then put me in the room next door. They dont have do not disturb signs and I'm here working midnights so Im sleeping during the time they do their cleaning. Woke me up the first day at 8 am I work from 5 pm until 5 am. No microwave, no coffee machine, no refrigerator in the room. To get coffee I have to go to the front desk and ask for a cup. They 1 microwave by the front desk and dont put coffee out until 7am until 10 am.. no breakfast. Just a place to sleep. There have been reports of bed bugs in the past. I haven't seen any... yet.... I asked for extra pillows and the lady lied to my face and told me they didn't have any ( when I have seen them on shelves in the laundry room full of them ). Water pressure in the room is very weak, the faucet especially. Don't drink the water unless you love the taste of chlorine. I had to go buy bottled water. The chip machine, they want $3.00 for a small Itty bity bag of chips. Go to dollar tree to get those. Don't even bother with the soda machine. Pool, is a waste. Missing tiles, the view is horrid, you can see busted windows upstairs and see where they have things stored in them. Location is ok. It's close to the freeway and all kinds of places to eat. ( the food truck next door is AMAZING if you're looking for Mediterranean food.) But the traffic to get in and out is horrible, you're at the mercy of someone letting you in. The exit is so close to the light that there are cars always right there. There is a backway out onto the feeder road to put you onto the freeway which is very nice. Handicap spots are far from the front door, further than the closest parking spot to the door. At least 200 feet from the front door. I myself won't want to ever come here again. I already told my...

We have been staying at this Motel6 twice a month for the last year. The staff is always friendly and professional. We usually ask for a room on the 3rd floor as its the newest floor. We have been satisfied with the rooms. Have been given free upgrade when no nonsmoking rooms are available. Last Thursday we we given a room and the key card did not work. Went down to front desk, quickly corrected. Go back to room and opened the door, the lights are on as well as the TV. Bed unmade. Air was hot. We did not enter, we saw folded towels on table. We thought someone else was given same room as it was after 9pm, and bed was not made. Went down again, quickly given another room. Disappointed that instead of a queen size bed we had 2 full size. Under the beds was very dirty, dirt and some kind of wrappers and dusty hair balls. Not swept for some time. Sheets were wrinkled and just folded back up on bed. And did not smell like bleach. (they always did before ) Sheets were not changed. There was a greasy coating of something all over the floors. When I wiped the floor with the towel the towel turned brown. The air conditioning never shut off even when we set it to 83. We were cold. And check out was at noon , however the housekeeping ALWAYS start knocking on the doors at 9.That will be our last stay. If there are no little freebies like internet, microwave and shampoo etc... The rooms should at least be cleaned and sanitized in detail. For $20 more we will be staying at La Quinta where they are clean and they have irons, blow dryers. Microwave and refrigerator. Gym pool. Free breakfast. We get a discount there from my work place. We liked this location, but we need a CLEAN...

Everything was going well until I turned off the a/c. My partner got allergies out of the sudden; crazy red eyes and had had difficulty breathing. I was doing alright. Had little difficulty breathing but nothing major, I went to the restroom and realized my eyes were also red. The girl I was with I hadn’t been with her for over a year, both could be covid symptoms but both of us having those symptoms out of nowhere makes no sense. I did the covid test two days prior and was (and still) negative. She couldn’t breathe so we took off. Could’ve asked for another room but at that point I thought we couldn’t risk it. Not to spend the night. What if something worse would happen? I tried calling the hotel multiple times. Not just to inform them of what happened but also for them not to put another guest in that room because there was definitely something wrong with it. Thirty minutes after we left the property we were both back to normal. I was able to contact the hotel managers but they didn’t help. Said I should’ve gone to the front desk at that time and explain my situation. I have screenshots of the calls not going through. I had stayed at this hotel tons of times. Never experienced something like this before but the way the management handled this was not right. I feel like not only they didn’t believe me but also that they didn’t even care.

This building should be condemned. I am notifying the health inspector of Brownsville of the possibility of the presence of mold. Room 127 was disgusting to say the least. I slept on top of the covers just in case of bedbugs. Yes I asked for another room but there was none ready. The sheets were dirty and stained. Stains on the walls from condensation running down the walls due to the humidity in the building. The security latch on the door was about to fall off. Hair in the bathroom sink, and under the air conditioner there was what I think could have been mold. The sheetrock was bubbled and falling off. There was greasy substance all over the floor like they used oil to mop with. The small table under the TV had grease smears all over it. The only thing that looked half way clean was the shower. When you 1st entered the room there was a strong odor. I was supposed to stay a 2nd night for my company visit, but no way. I notified my company to NEVER put me in a motel 6.

The location stinks. Can’t access it from the feeder road when the address takes you to that spot. The roaches! The smell of mold. There’s a damp feeling when you walk into the lobby. This location has had a leak that floods a section of the first floor and just soaks the carpet and smell is horrendous! When I reported the water the front desk told me they are aware and simply told me to be careful when walking through. The rooms are far from clean. I wiped down the counters and the wipes turned brown. My allergies started acting up just being in the lobby checking in. I have never felt so unsafe. Not to mention lack of care to enforce the no smoking policy. My coffee pot was full of mold. The smell of cigarettes and marijuana in the halls was unbearable. The city of Brownsville has received my complaint. DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your health.
