The Downtown Pretzel Co. — Restaurant in Bruce Township

Came in and ordered 5 pretzels on Sunday around 2:30PM - we drove by earlier in the week and the line was so long but today was just our day! Store had two families inside eating (the seating is extremely limited to maybe 3 or so tables in the front. They have extended the kitchen/office area down the one hallway where there used to be seating and shelves and looks like you can come in from the back door? Not sure yet about that but easily accessible from the alley on the side to the front. The girl that ring us up just started today, so she had some knowledge of the pretzels when I asked what are your faves or what’s a big seller, no big deal though! We ordered a few salt, pizza, parmesan, garlic, and jalapeño cheddar. All of them tasted great except the Parmesan garlic was a little bit charred more than we liked, but didn’t notice until we got home since everything was in one bag. There is a lot of hype online for downtown pretzel company and we’re really excited that they are here! Congrats on your new venture!

Went with the buy 3 get one free for $19 (without the tip they ask you for), otherwise they would have been $6.36 each (too much for what you get). These are chewy bread in the shape of a pretzel. 3 of the 4 had black, burnt areas on the bottom that needed to be picked off. The jalapeno-cheddar was very well done and many parts of it was like a crouton. Doubt I'll be back unless I see reviews stating they have improved their quality control and/or pricing. I also noticed they aren't responding to their reviews, so unlikely things...

I really wanted to like these because the cafe on the corner also owned by them is great, but unfortunately these gave me some serious indigestion after eating. Taste and everything was perfectly fine, maybe it was just late in the day so the pretzels and cheese dip had been out all day. I did order two cheese dips with my regular pretzel and one was cold so I suspect the cheese was the culprit, but I honestly felt horrible the rest of the day after eating here, and it came out the other end just...
