I Ordered two giant subs. One hot and one cold. I did so through the mobile app. $40+ for two sandwiches, we pre ordered them for pickup and when we arrived the woman behind the counter, rude beyond belief by the way, was unaware of our order. WE STOOD AT THE “order here” sign, there was no greeting, no eye contact. Not even the slightest acknowledgment. I get being busy but the woman could not seemed more bothered. WAs we tried to explain that we paid for them and ordered them through the app she seems impatient and annoyed by us trying to clarify the situation and hurried us though making a brand new order. I kept kind because I know the stress of working in a food service environment but the attitude seemed without warrant.
After waiting god knows how long, they put together my cold sub, where I had to remind them that it came with bacon after the fact. That was not the issue because then after wrapping my sandwich the employee placed it next to the register as an already completed sub waited in the bag near the pick up station. Because of the prior confusion I did not wish to pick it up because i didn’t want the woman to think I did pay for it. My partner got impatient and grabbed them and after checking that we indeed had both subs, a bag of chips and a Pepsi. We get In the car and I’m trying to give him his, which was the hot sub, to find that both sandwiches are COLD.
Yes! after all the run around, the rudeness, me having to figure out if I could even have my sandwich after I had paid for it they made us two of the same sandwiches. This was my first ever time going to a Jersey mikes and if I ever try it again this is not the one I will go to.
Added note, the place wasn’t terribly busy. There was customer in line and two waiting for pick ups that were already in process when we arrived. There were five employees working so they didn’t seem short handed. Just seemed not to really care about...
Read moreI was so excited to try Jersey Mikes last night! They had 4 people behind the counter. No greeting. There were 3 people waiting for their online orders that were not ready. When my husband and I went to the counter to order again. No greeting. A man and a woman behind the counter were complaining about a woman waiting for her order! Everyone could hear their frustration bc they were overwhelmed by the orders they had to fulfill! Our sandwiches were thrown together in a rush. The employees were terrible at listening. They would ask us questions about our order and then ask again. I would hate to see how the place runs when it’s actually busy! You got 4 people behind the counter!! Subway pumps out friendly service and TONS of sandwiches with 2 people behind the counter! The cooks corner subway sometimes has that one girl Savanna running the whole restaurant by herself! Jersey Mikes in cooks corner is disappointing. Unfortunately, it won’t be long until that place will close. I hope things could turn around for them, but when you have a negative bruised apple working for you; they tend to rot out the whole bunch of apples spreading their negative attitudes throughout the workers. I’ll never go there again. So sad and disappointing. I had high hopes and was so excited last night to try Jersey Mikes. The sandwich wasn’t any better than Subway. I wanted a hot sandwich but chose not to order my first choice bc the man at the grill was complaining out loud for everyone to hear how annoyed he was to make that woman’s cheese steak sandwich which she asked to be made without cheese. Everyone including the woman could hear him complaining behind the counter. The whole experience was uncomfortable. Here’s The kicker ..it wasn’t teenagers making our sandwiches! Read moreThe food was disgusting there was hair in my sandwich and it wasn't made the way I ordered it at all, I asked the manager to remake my giant sub and I got an unbelievable attitude from her that made me question the companies decision for management, the store is absolutely filthy, the manager is rude and looks like she's fresh out highschool clearly doesn't know how to run a store, her employees don't respect her or listen to her, the bathrooms need to be cleaned bad, the meat display has visible mildew growing in the drip pan , the glass for the display case is filthy and there's trash openly visible all throughout the kitchen / back. The store hasn't been the same since the short red headed girl with glasses and tall guy left, when they worked there I had extremely minimal problems with my food and any inconveniences were immediately corrected to a satisfactory standard. This store needs serious help, I've been considering calling the health department due to the fact the last time I had a correctly made sandwich from this store I got sick as a dog and missed 2 days of work which I feel was a direct result from eating a sub from a dirty kitchen. They need to either replace the manager with somebody who will get things done and can handle customers without treating them like dirt under their shoes, or shut down the store because it's a disgrace as it stands now. I will be sharing my experience on social media as well. I want to give the store one more chance because the food when made correctly is very good but again as it stands now the Jersey Mike's Brunswick location is a disgrace so I'm extremely hesitant if I want to waste my money again or possibly get a good...
