Red Carpet Lounge — Restaurant in Brunswick

I’ve visited this place numerous times over the last 10 years. Not really sure what’s happened these last few months. Things were getting waaaayyyy better at the beginning of this year. Seemed like it was turning into a really nice club with pretty hot girls. But it has seriously gone downhill this last month or so. Most of the fun and attractive girls are gone. Now they seem to be hiring any girl who asks for a job. Doesn’t matter what they look like. The security guard is a joke. He looks like if you drop a cheeseburger in front of him, you can easily make a getaway. Clearly they don’t actually care about keeping the place secure if they hired someone who belongs on “my 600lb life”. Seriously if it were between him and just not having security, they should just not have security. The ”dj” doesn’t know what he’s doing. He plays a bunch of Spanish music that is neither for stripping nor dancing lol. The drinks are weak af and in plastic cups. For some reason they put in a giant tv in the opposite direction from the stage when the girls are supposed to be the entertainment. So they’re taking attention away from the stage??? lol i stayed for about an hour and left. Idk why things changed but it’s easy to tell it’s under different management. And whoever is running the place now is running it into the ground. I won’t be going back for a good while. Hopefully it goes back to what it was at the beginning...

Though my entrance was impossible, I was still able to observe this establishment from a head through the door. The scent is what caught me first, and what a scent it was. Peppermint and church pews filled my nostrils with no pretense necessary. This along with the neon fueled atmosphere of the lobby simply brought back to the times of childhood and whimsy. VIP is a joke. Cameras are everywhere. Big brother will be watching you and it's in a semi-open area so everyone walking by can look in. No bueno. Definitely not like the clubs in Atlanta or D.C. They dont have a no smoking policy so be prepared to smell like an ashtray when you leave. More like the Shag...
