This was by far the least pleasant dining experience I've had in a long while. it's been a while since I visited this restaurant, but the change in experience from them to now is shockingly awful. The queso looked and tasted strange. The refried beans were bland and over watered. The rice was dry flavored incorrectly. I could barely cut through the cheese enchiladas. As bad as everything else was, the fajitas were on a whole nother level of bad. I've never had fajitas served luke warm on a plate before. As nice as the building is, they apparently can't afford the black iron skillet, or the "sizzle" that is standard for fajitas everywhere else I've ever gone. Piss poor Presentation aside, the fajita meat was so bad we didn't even feed it to our dogs. It was like the meat was boiled, and barely seasoned (if at all). The gray color almost matched the runny beans. We did our best to struggle through it, got our check, and went up to the counter to pay our bill. The lady behind the counter seemed irritated that we were interrupting her conversation with the waitress, and our interaction went like this : Cashier : "how was everything" Me : "honestly, not very good" My partner : "every item was just not good" Cashier : "Oh. Okay. Your total is $72...." I was stunned by her complete disregard to our response, and absolute disinterest in why we were dissatisfied.
This restaurant has been very vocal about the effect the medians have had on local businesses, but maybe they should look internally at the quality of their food, and the quality of their staff if they are looking to explain the drop in business they are...
Read moreWe went has a church group. The servers and staff were very rude. They got an order wrong and would not replace with the correct order. I had order guacualme as an appetizer and came out with our meal. There were no refills for our drinks and our server did not come to our table. We asked a server a question and she could not understand english. We just had a question about the billand the pricing and the server was very rude. I have a medical condition and was not able to wear my mask around the restuarant. My child did not have her mask on and the server did not ask her to put hers on. Also, their were other patrons without their mask on. I wanted to buy gum and pralines and was refused service. All my daughter wanted was gum. But because I was not able to put my mask on I was refused service. But yet the server did not ask my child to put her mask on. I know in the law that if you have a medical condition that retail or restuarant can not force you to wear a mask or refuse service. Now granted we are out with church members that has over 1500 people. This will be my first and last time going here. The staff was very rude and inconsiderate. And now the church members will not be going their either and choose another restaurant because of the bad experience. How can you deny a child anything? What type of service are we setting. In other restuarant youcan walk around without your mask. I will be choosing these...
Read moreThis was our first and definitely last visit to this restaurant. The exterior is very inviting and the decor is clean and organized. We thought 2 pluses were good indicators. WRONG! Our server was hospitable and prompt to take our drink and food order. I ordered the ceviche and my husband ordered shrimp enchiladas. Both dishes were horrible! The ceviche was frozen popcorn shrimp that was obviously not properly deveined, thawed, drained, or seasoned! Wow how can you mess up ceviche??? My husband’s shrimp enchilada plate was just as bad. Same popcorn shrimp wrapped in flour tortillas and served “swimming” in what appeared to be canned cheese. Same stuff you serve at sports games. The Spanish rice needed help too. Nothing was seasoned. To quote my Spanish ancestors “la comida falto”. Please understand that we have NEVER had this problem before at any restaurant EVER! If the restaurant had been super busy I think we would’ve been more understanding of the problem, however, the restaurant wasn’t busy, therefore, the kitchen staff could have taken a few more steps to prepare the food properly. So be...
