Lamar & Niki's Pit Barbecue and Soul Food — Restaurant in Bryan

I sent my wife on Saturday to pick up me a three meat bar b que plate with chili beans and collord greens as the two sides after viewing the price and food on the website and the price for the plate was $15.99/ and I also spoke with an employee before my wife got there and clearly said that they have collord greens but when my wife got there to pick the food up she called me while she was there and I had only given her $20.00 dollars since the 3 meat plate only shows $15.99 on the website so while she was on the phone with me I hear the employee saying that the collord greens were mixed with cabbage and to top it all off she stated that the 3 meat plate 🍽 was $27.00 dollars 💸 and I was very disappointed 😞 and tried to get my wife to leave the food there and get my money back but the employee insisted that she would take the $20.00 dollars 💸 for the food and got home with the food and it was the side was all cabbage and no collord greens which I was lied to and the Chilli beens tasted like ranch style beans and the ribs and brisket tasted like they were baked in the oven with no flavor their bar b que plates are way over priced and you guys really need to update your food prices on your website and this makes me very disappointed 😞 and because of this I will not be ordering bar b que from this establishment anymore in the future and for this cause Nikki and lamar deserves a...

I’m at work and working a 12 hour shift I came to work this morning only thinking I was gonna be here a few hours but some people called in so I wanted to pick up some extra time I asked my pops if he can bring me some food because I didn’t bring a lunch . I will say when he first brought me the food I looked at it and I was just like where did he get this and what is it because he wouldn’t tell me he just said he brought me some good food now never in my life have I had sweet potatoes that I liked so I would never eat them When I tell you, oh my God, this is hands-down, the best food in the town of Bryan College Station I will definitely be coming here very frequently as much as possible cause I want to try everything. I’m originally from South Carolina, so anytime I get a chance to eat Soul Food it’s a treat. We decided to try Lamar and Niki’s Pit BBQ and Soul Food while visiting our daughter in College Station, and the visit did not disappoint. I had the two meat BBQ, I chose ribs and brisket with potato salad, cornbread, onion and pickles, and cornbread dressing and gravy (you get to choose sides from a variety of options). My daughter had a 2 meat meal as well, she chose brisket, sausage, cabbage, green beans, and cornbread. My wife had a one meat meal, and she chose ox tail( which she had never eaten before), cabbage, sweet potatoes, and cornbread. The food was excellent! My only complaint is I ate too much!
