I had been going to this Popeyes location because the lines are never long. There are two reasons for this. First, it is a pain to find the entrance to this place. Secondly, the service is always sub par. My kid decided he wanted a Chicken Sandwich. I pull up the speaker. There are no cars in the drive through. Silence. I wait a few minutes, thinking maybe they do not realize someone is waiting. Still silence. I finally spoke up, "Hello?" The young girl comes up the speaker and never apologizes for the wait. You can hear in the tone of her voice she does not want to be there. She never asks if I want anything else. I have to give her both orders and she quickly tells me the order total and to pull up. I pull up to the window and she is still giving me attitude like this the last place she wants to be. She takes my credit card and I comment in a sarcastic tone to my kid, "Wow.. She is really friendly." The only good thing about this place is I got my food quickly. There was another car who had to pull up and wait for his food. I did risk it by not checking my order when the woman tossed me my bag. Luckily, the order was right.
I get home and the tenders are small and cold. The red beans and rice was ok, but a little on the salty side. The chicken sandwiches were also cold and bland. Come on Popeyes. I asked nicely through the drive thru if I could get a 12 PC all white, even asked if it were a possibility to have that request met. The first lady had no answer for me at which point handed me to the black gal. She told me she would have my total at the window. She told me it would be $38.52, at which point asked her, "for 12pc all white chicken?", at which point she laughed in my face and said, "did you even look at the prices?". I replied, I guess I'm stupid, why else would you be laughing at me." She continued to laugh, so I pulled away, swung around back through the drive thru and said through the intercom after she said hello how can I help you, "I saw the prices,12pc $29.99." she then said, "reason why it's more is I have to charge you extra for all white chicken." I said, "ok thank you for explaining this to me this go around, would of been easier the first go around and goodbye." If she would have treated me kindly and explained the first time, wouldn't that of been a better resolve instead being adversarial and laughing in my face? Read moreArrived at 9:40, to go line was blocked and front doors were locked. I have been in the business for over 30 years, your hours are your hours. If you close at 10 you serve till 10, I will never visit this location, and I never visit businesses that do not honor customer service, good luck.
Update 8/28/23 I have not gone back for two years, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I go back. I am not sure who owns this location, but I always feel like an owner should be aware of just how poorly there business is hitting. I drove up, all lights are off, I had to look at Google to see their hours, not closed for 2 more hours. Went through the drive-through, I was told to wait. No hello, no thanks for coming, so I waited, then I simply heard "are you ready" as if they were waiting for me. As I placed my order, I was talked over several times. When I drove up, I was told "$27.04", no hi, nothing cordial, nada. I handed the cashier my card, and a moment later they simply held my card out, and said "move up". My chicken came out a few minutes later, and a bag was waved in my window. I said thanks, I got a "ahuh". Worst guest engagement I have ever experienced.
