I ordered a burger and asked them to add jalepeno ranch. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life, been to wataburger a few hundred times and always order my burger the same way. They told me I would have to put it in the side. I told them that I’d always had it put on the burger and she said let me see if I can do that. She tapped a few buttons and and added it to the burger. When the burger came out there was no jalapeño ranch. They also gave me a medium fry when I ordered a large and messed up my wife’s order as well. When she went to bring it to their attention, they explained that they had to charge for jalapeño ranch and it MUST come on the side now. I said I didn’t understand why they didn’t just tell us that from the beginning and she just shrugged and said well I have to charge 80 cents if you want jalapeño ranch. I told her to just return the meal and give me a refund. I asked for a corporate number and she just rudely said ‘you’ll have to look it up on our website’. I asked if she was one of the managers and she was. I asked if there was another manager there and she just rudely said ‘there is but she’s just going to tell you the same thing.’ I said ok I’d like to speak with her. When the other manager came out she asked if I was the one who wanted the corporate number, I said yes, she handed it to me and said nothing else. I told her what happened, told her about the rude manager, told her I didn’t understand why they didn’t explain the policy at the beginning and she said literally nothing. She just stared at me. Read morePretty disappointing experience even for a whataburger. The dining room had multiple dirty tables. And not a SINGLE table was cleaned the 45 mins or so I was there. The drink station was dirty. The mat in front of the drink station was so nasty, my shoes stuck to it. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich meal. The sandwich had a hair in it. Not too surprising after reading through some reviews and seeing employees. The cashier was nice and handled it very well. She took the old sandwich away and brought me a new one very quickly. That was about the only good part of this visit. How they handled a hair in my sandwich if that tells you anything. The fries were kinda old and hard. I placed my order for dine in, but received it in a sack. My biggest complaint would be that the employees put rubber gloves on and then commence to touching EVERYTHING never changing the gloves. WHERE IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT?? These type of infractions should be caught during inspections. No wonder some customer reviews talk about getting sick. Read more645am one car in the drive through. Two customers eating inside. Three workers sitting at a table in the corner one being a manager. Absolutely no one watching the counter. I stand there patiently for a while wondering. The manager from the table gets up and starts out the building. She acknowledge me by saying hello, but I am a bit confused why that was all. She continued on her way out the building. The two other two employees never lifted there faces from there phone. I guess catching up on some tic tok. I finally spoke into the kitchen knock knock hello is anyone here. Magaly another manager made her way to the counter and asked what she could help me with. "Good morning I would like to place an order, but I wasn't sure how to do that without anyone at the counter. I see a couple employees in the corner". She stopped me immediately sir they are not on the clock. I mentioned they could take a little pride in there job. She then refused to serve me.
This is ALL GOOD i will put my hard earned money somewhere deserving. I guess she took offense to reality.
