Athenian Burger — Restaurant in Buena Park

This place used to be our favorite for years we live down the street and have been coming for years but we will not be returning after our last visit this place has become a complete rip off they up charge you for everything that they sell you including ranch ketchup and salt a pepper and the the food is mediocre at best and the lady's that's work the phone and take the orders are also complete garbage they up charger you like they are working for commission which is hilarious we payed over $80 for 2 meals worth of food my grandma that went into pay is literally 81 years old and I kind of can't help but feel that they ripped her off on purpose and im not okay with that I'm also not okay with the crappy attitude in which we are usually we are usually greeted with by the money Hungary lady's that work the register we are already over paying for the food don't need to deal with someone 2 cent crap attitude before eating the meal we totally got ripped off for like I said the food is mid grade and over priced I suggest staying away from this place if you don't want to be ripped off there are plenty of other places around that are better price and better quality food that you won't get over charged for and also better quality customer service I'm tired of going here and them acting like i owe them something when I don't thank you Management for making the place we once loved to now a place we despise you guys...

The whole visit was a mess. From when I first ordered, it seemed that everything I ordered was an "extra" or an "add on." Somehow the cost came out to $28 for 2 people and I didn't get a receipt detailing how it came out to that. I figured it was probably a lot of food though so just waited. But the size was average, and the fries on the smaller size. My husband got the burger and he said it tasted good. I got the club and it was alright. They're famous for their burgers, so I guess one should just stick with that. Then found out you only get 1 refill. I spent $28 and only 1 refill?!! Really?? That's screwed if you ask me. I was feeling pretty frustrated at this point and wanted to head out but went to the bathroom first. Their bathroom was NASTY! AND... then I came out and right as I stepped out there's a drain right in the walkway that I fell and twisted my ankle on!! Needless to say, this experience was terrible! Good burgers.... but not worth...

Overall Experience, Not Good. Advertised As Best Breakfast Burritos In Orange County, So Please Go Just For The Breakfast Burrito Because All The Other Food Tasted Horrible. 95% Of There Menu Is Other Food Options, Then There Breakfast Burrito. Limited Choices For Kids, Drinks Tasted Stale, Fries Were Dry, There Was Even A Bug Landing On The Food In The Cook/Food Prep Area. Lady Was Rude Taking Our Order Looked Like She Hated Her Job, Then Over Charged Us By $10.00. Had To Ask For A Receipt Because It's Not Automatically Given To Customer After Order. Then Did We Realize Asking For A Couple Add Ons & Condiments Was Extra But Was Never Explained That When Ordering. Lady Never Handed Us Our Take Out Orders She Threw Them On The Table & She Just Said Here. Spent Over $50.00 Here & Would Expect A Thankyou Enjoy Your Meal Kind Of Statement But Lady Seemed Uneducated & Kind Of Robotic. Not Visiting Here Again, There Are Way Better Food Options...
