I came into the Buena Park location on Tuesday, April 6th at around 6pm and we waited for a good 30 minutes at the events desk before being acknowledged for help. There was one girl at the front desk assisting people coming in for the trampoline park and everyone else was nowhere to be found. A girl by the name of Harley attempted to assist us but she didn't seem very sure of herself and had to go to the back office several times to either ask questions or use the computer in the back because the one in the front office wasn't working. After what seemed to be another 30 minutes she confirmed our reservation and informed us that we should receive a confirmation within 48 hours. I waited 2 days and didn't receive a confirmation so I called the location at 4pm after it had opened. When no one answered for 2 hours we decided drive to the location. When we arrived, I asked to speak to a manager, and I was greeted by Markele. He informed us that Harley NEVER booked our reservation and said that we should have received our confirmation on the same day within a few hours. He also asked if we would like cotton candy with our reservation as an apology for the inconvenience. I was so excited and thought that we were all good going forward (Big Mistake). I received a call from an employee regarding my daughter's cake about a week before the event which made me take a look at our reservation again for some reason. I found that they noted that my daughter was 9 instead of 7 so I had my fiance' call to make the change. When he called, they went over the reservation and the employee told him that we can start setting up for the party at 2:45pm and a host wouldn't be available until 3:00pm. When we originally booked we were asked what time we would like the party to start and end. We chose from 1pm-4pm and we were informed that the set-up time was at 12:30pm. When my fiance' asked for a manager Christine informed us that this was the incorrect information but also said that is usually how it goes. I still don't know what the truth was but we asked if she would be there on the day of the party so we could only work with her (She said that she would be). On the day of the event I parked in the loading area on the back side and entered the back entrance where it clearly has a sign that says loading entrance for events only. As I'm walking out of this door to my car the security guard stops me to tell me that the manager told him to tow my car and that this door is an emergency exit and that I can't park my car in the loading area. I tell the gentleman that I just spoke with the manager and they are aware. He continues to argue but I ended up calling the front desk and ask them to 1) open the door that the security guard closed and locked and 2) to COMMUNICATE to him what I was told. After this inconvenience we arrived in the large event space and found that the floor and tables were sticky but I didn't want to bother with the front desk again. An employee (don't remember her name) later came to inform me when our host would be available and asked if we needed anything. I requested that we receive the cotton candy now so I can set it up on the tables and she informed me that they haven't had cotton candy in a long time. She apologized if this was offered online but it was a free addition that they no longer provide because the machine is broken. I informed her that this was offered to us by a manager and asked her why her team was so inconsistent and why no one ever has the correct information? She just looked at me, shrugged her shoulders and apologized. At about 2:30pm our host started setting up the racks for the pizza and went over the food order with me. The order came out on time but I kept having to go look for the host when I needed her to serve the food, a knife to cut the cake, a lighter for the candle or even ask for extra plates. She wasn't very dependable and wasn't present the entire time like we were told. She also did not help me set up like I was told. The ice cream cake was also frozen solid...
Read moreTook my kids out on a Saturday Evening for some Cosmic Fun it was our first time coming to Big Air in Buena Park. Let me share my experience from the very beginning. We got the $30 package that includes the cosmic t shirt and 3 hour jump which sounded like a really good deal! I gave the front desk clerk my kids t shirt sizes and all they had were adult T-shirt’s. Great! It’s a kid place yet they only have adult sizes. I have a little and a big kid so the adult tshirts were a waste and they did not use them. FYI the Cosmic Tshirts are not required to wear. I didn’t need to purchase socks because I traded old socks from another jumping place. As you walk in to the right there is a designated area to put your shoes in cubby’s. It was so dirty of trash I was disgusted! I took my kids shoes with me where I found seating. The seating inside was ghetto!! They have individual chairs everywhere that you can just grab and take anywhere you like. They have carpet everywhere 😩 my kids socks had so much fuzz on them!! Socks are not reusable I threw them away that day. There are no tables so you can imagine all the trash that’s all over the carpet floor everywhere! I’m not sure if the AC was Broken or if it’s always that hot at Big Air but it was very uncomfortable!! I knew immediately there was no way I was going to last the 3 hours. There were so many kids everywhere and since there is no designated seating for the adults away from the trampolines you are surrounded by everyone! Cosmic night at Big Air gets very dark!!! Not recommended for little ones to go for Cosmic Night as it is very easy to lose your child surrounded by hundreds of others. A parent lost her little boy that evening. He was about 6years old. Because Big Air at Buena Park has two ways to come in and out it’s very easy to lose your child. The little boy left Big Air alone and was later found downstairs of the Mall!! A parents worse nightmare!! Over all it was such a bad experience for me. Not to mention two big trampolines...
Read moreYesterday my kids and niece visited your Buena Park location and they will never go back. After about a half hour of being there my daughters backpack was stolen from the cubbies that clearly have signs that state "This area is under surveillance". I think it is very suspicious that when i got there to speak to a manager she had just left seconds earlier. Even though my kids were frantically searching and spoke to almost every employee there. No one mentioned to the MANAGER that something was stolen. I've even tried to call, text and email the manager but some how she just can't be reached. Its even more suspicious that my niece and son also had bags in the cubbies right next to my daughters and only hers was stolen. Her bag is very hard to loose in a crowd, it stands out a lot. They even tried to use her bank card almost immediately but were denied thank god. I believe it was one of their employees who stole the bag because my kids noticed at few of the works kept a very close eye on them almost like they were watching to make sure they were far enough away so they did notice the bag being taken. Since her phone, and other personal items were in the bag i made sure to file a police report. I walked the mall and asked a few of the surrounding stores if they seen her bag of course they didn't, but they did say Big Air is notorious for items going "magically" missing even though they have cameras. I only gave this place one star because i had to in order to...
