Food tastes ok.The problem I’ve seen with this place lately is the cleanliness of the restaurant as well as the workers there are very dirty handling the food.Ive been coming to this place for years and last 3 times I went was pretty disgusting. One time I was enjoying my food like always and I see the lady that is working there re filling the wings literally sneezed completely into the food while handling the food.Didn’t bother to stop or cover her mouth like really just sneezed into the food. And yes I still came back giving it the benefit of the doubt thinking it’s not that bad.But again I came back next I see this kid just playing with the food trying it out and dropping it on floor and putting it back.No one noticed or said anything lol.Gross again thought ok things happen it’s a child.Next time I see a lady sneeze on her hand and after with no gloves just put the bread for people to take.An actual worker. Its nasty I will not be returning to this place ever. Not sure if all buffets are like this but yea 3 times a charm. And not to talk about the restrooms they smell really bad.Says a lot about a restaurant when bathroom isn’t clean. If you ask me I don’t recommend this place anymore.Believe me go somewhere else. These workers just serve everyone like a herd they could care less how clean your food is.Think about it.They don’t even bother to wear gloves when touching food, dripping mucous on food like it’s so Normal.I understand people get colds but cmon. The waiters are very nice and attentive but I like a clean...
Read moreIt's time to give this place a fair review. Been here multiple times after discovering it a few months back----since they were the only Buffet open during this time of pandemic anywhere in/around the O.C. that serves Oysters (over crab legs for me)
1st tip for you viewers is not to come here on a weekend unless you really have to. Their weekend all day dinner prices are $2 more than weekdays dinner but all the menu are the same. Speaking of the menu now, it is very limited, some of the dishes that you see in the photos are obsolete. I don't understand why they couldn't find a way to serve Salmon sashimi for example and settled with serving just Tuna most times.
They also have very limited vegetable selection but the broccoli salad is good... I find myself mixing it with the tuna sashimi and call it Poke. They have crawfish, snails, clams as delicacy seafood menu. They're crab legs and oysters come in (for dinner)
Their dessert options are very lacking as well, they've got the usual orange slices, melon, (sometimes) pineapples and yellow kiwi but they also have papaya slices in there as well as some jello and grapes in the fruits section. The pastry side of desserts they've got the Flan (which is their best dessert imo) some dry and old looking cream puffs, some biscuits and a few other small square cakes (pretty tasteless) except for the rare coffee cake that they sometimes serve.
All in all its a decent buffet place, dinner prices during weekdays was at $18.xx tax included per head. $20.xx...
Read moreIt was a favorite before, until now. After having a problem needing to pull a whole greasy piece of plastic wrap from my mouth after biting into some food we tried to discuss with management our problem; however, after a few calm back and forth discussion there was just a sudden turn on how they responded. They needlessly got heated, for no reason said that what we were asking for in return was stealing and threatened to call police. We had no issue with paying originally until after the food issue, they didn't make us pay for the meal but still responded to us in a disrespectful manner making us leave in the end. The owner of the store, called us trash, and at the register for some reason called us poor people and after asking for his name said that we didn't deserve his name and that his name was "D. A. D....DAD". Again, I loved the place but after such a disrespectful way to respond and speak to people I know I'm not coming back. We never threw any rude comments at them like the owner did. I feel bad for the other stuff, they for sure felt awkward about it and so did I. I remember hearing from certain staff how the owner can be somewhat "energetic" in a not so positive way. Edit:I saw the reviews after, and it is pretty clear the owner is one of the bigge issues here. Young (in appearance), tanned Asian male usually wearing a black hat. It seems like he doesn't want to be a reasonable person, I feel bad for the staff; they don't have the best customer service attitude but they are...
