Golden Bowl — Restaurant in Buena Park

I was so stoked when I saw that there was a Golden bowl close to garden grove! I used to live close to their original one in West Covina and man it brought back some delicious memories.

This one in Burma Park is another branch but the food is just not quite the same as the one in West Covina. The cooks over there have some sort of magic touch to their chicken burrito that makes it’s extra delicious, the one over here was a tad bit lazier.

HOWEVER, the food still tasted amazing! The cashier was incredibly helpful and fast with placing the order despite the line and the food came out great, not perfect, but 4/5 isn’t all that bad!

The cheese in my chicken burrito wasn’t fully melted so maybe that’s why it didn’t have that magic touch, but it still brought back memories of my high school days where I didn’t have to do adult things like...

The quality is on par with Waba Grill, if not better. It's a tiny hole in the wall type place, great to go grab a bite for dinner or lunch. But make sure you're not in a hurry when you go, because they actually cook your food when you order it. So you will be waiting for it for a little while. Got a veggie bowl with pork. The veggies were half cooked which is how I like them with a bit of crunch. The veggies included cabbage carrots broccoli and mushrooms. All were delicious and high quality produce. The pork was also very delicious without being overly salty. This is the first time I've gone in 8 years, I used to order the shrimp. Let me start by stating the food is great10/10 I’ve eaten many times here! But as of late it’s like staff has either changed or just don’t care. I used to be given extra teriyaki sauce cups pretty much as much as I wanted ! Now ? Well now they only Give you 1 small container of sauce each extra is .50! This makes no sense especially since they have squirt bottles available for dine in customers? Free of charge as much as they want ? I couldn’t believe this especial since dine in is only About 6 small tables basically It’s a take out place. So I will exploit that loop hole next!
