Comfort With Some Improvable Faults||1. No water pressure in shower, possibly due to the tiny and clogged shower heads, like all of the rooms here. But bathtub faucet has good water pressure (turning the shower on should not decrease/should spew out that same pressure).||2. There are no outlets next to nor near the bed. I have to step over my extension cord that's plugged into office desk wall across the isle of the bed (the isle that leads to the exit door! I could trip over, and almost have already. ||3. The mini fridges here don't have the freezer as the top part, like other motels and hotels do. ||4. They advertise on all travel websites including their website , that coffee makers are on the rooms. However, they're not. If you happen to inform them that yours is missing, they bring you one without informing you that they're by request only. Security deposits (which I'm very rarely ever asked for at any hotel nor motel, and I travel often) should not be required if the advertised amenities are missing. ||5. You're left in the black dark in the shower because they turn off the bathroom light after a certain time, instead of it simply being a light switch guests flip up and down like the sink light!!!||6. called Mariana in advance of my arrival and confirmed with her that despite you/Expedia only showing a wheelchair accessible room available on Monday, that the motel will keep me in the same room I'm checking into on Wednesday/yesterday (standard king with bathtub) DO THAT I DON'T HAVE TO SWITCH ROOMS. She said yes. However, upon my arrival she revealed that she lied to me; that there are no standard king rooms available in Monday (for my one day extension) and that I'll have to switch rooms. ||7. So she gave me a free upgrade to s 2 queen beds room. But failed to inform me that it has no microwave! That no 2 queen beds rooms have one. Yet they consider that an UPGRADE and charge more for those rooms while preventing guests from eating!!! Every room should have fridge and microwave. Period. ||8. I found out upon entering the room. I therefore requested that they bring me a microwave. They refused!||And moreover, she had the audacity to disrespect name by telling me to get dressed, fix my hair, deal with elevator and humans looking at me and shared her s and viruses every time I need to use microwave; by traveling to lobby to use the one she says is there. Wow . Obviously, I politely told her about herself for such an irrational insult. ||9. At check in, she said that I was obviously being charged one $50 security deposit, since I'm not leaving/since I'm staying until 5/11/25 without checking out. However, hours later I noticed that she stoled $50 off of my debit card by charging TWO separate security deposits.||10. I called her and asked why. Her answer made no since. Then she contradicted herself by saying that guests who simply extend their stay by adding night(s) are not charged AGAIN (not charged another security deposit since they've already been charged one at check in. Yet when I asked her again, to clarify and told her that that is MY scenario as well; she said they ARE charged another one! ||11. And furthermore, I told her..... What if I didn't have another $50 on the card?!? And that I needed that money for something!?! - Would she have waived charging two behind my back. Her answer was unclear. ||12. She suddenly informed me at check in that they send a maid to room to so called 'clean' after every 3 nights!!! Wtf! I do NOT want to be disturbed, bothered, intruded upon with such invasiveness!!! I told her to tell all staff and all maids to not disturb/not come to my room at all. Hopefully they comply. ||13. If a motel doesn't trust guests with the rooms, they should not charge a security deposit. The security deposit is to LEAVE GUESTS ALONE during their entire stay unless they request any cleaning or linens or towels replacement. Otherwise they are supposed to honor the DO NOT DISTURB decal in door know. |And regarding any trash; guests can discard of themselves or by sitting bag(s) outside of door for staff to retrieve. ||14. Sabrina brought an unusable coffee maker to the room with huge long crack in the glass of the pot, after telling me that she was going to bring a working one yet having me wait over thirty minutes, having to call again and she says she blew it off to do other things.||15. Regarding my FIRST stay I had at this motel.........On a phone call I should not have had to make (because Mariana told me she was sending someone to fix the loud air conditioner next door but never did), I called because no one came yet, while I'm talking to her she hands the phone to a co-worker. Wow. Now suddenly on the phone is a Liliana, who was rude and has no listening skills; reveals that Mariana lied to me - that she never mentioned it to ANYone. Rudely said with an attitude that they can't fix nor check a loud motor air conditioner unless the guest in that room complains about it, says he's not leaving until a few days from now, told me I can go to another room as if it's that simple. I told her I already unpacked after spending 15-20 minutes using my Lysol and disinfectant wipes, that it's not convenient for people to up and switch around.|Switching topics; she's telling me that they're short on linens, as to why they didn't provide my towels and flat sheets - AFTER I told her they already brought everything to me. She rudely tried to go back and forth repeating herself with irrational baseless excuses regarding their air conditioner problems; instead of taking my simple clear kind suggestion that they consider making a list of the rooms she says with loud air conditioners, after she revealed that allot of rooms have loud one's and that they ordered more several months ago, which [oddly] have not arrived yet. Instead of thanking me and apologizing to me and ensuring me that the matter will be properly addressed; she went on and on, and then accused me of lying about the loudness and vibrations of his air conditioner, until I informed her that me and Mariana did a test at the door - by me closing my door (since I had not closed it since check in, to let room air out) to see if it's still loud and vibrating, and because it does I told Mariana that it will wake me up, and Mariana therefore told me she'll send someone to fix it right away.|To finally save my valuable time and peace; I found a way to get off of the phone with her since she's showing she rather waste her guests time and energy with her glass half empty attitude and unprofessionalism (on a call that should not have been more than 1 to 2 minutes) - I informed her that I'm an introvert, and that I have allot to do before getting to sleep. About ten minutes later the guy steps out of his room and examines his air conditioner problem himself, then he's telling someone on his cellphone that it's quiet/that loud engine noise stops when he puts pressure on it from outside, and that therefore it needs to be re-secired to the wall. A maintenance guy goes and re-bolts it to the wall more securely. That's all Liliana could and should have said to me (that she'll call my neighbor and then send someone to try to resolve the issue); instead of her being disrespectful, negative, combative and unprofessional towards me.||16. Other than all of the above; I will be returning to this motel, giving them a chance to improve and to improve things. Including in that when I was checking out at 11am during my first stay, I witnessed a check in desk employee hassling a man for $40 to check in before 3pm despite there being available rooms. No motel nor hotel should ever request nor expect guests to pay money to check in 'early'; if the room is clean and ready and a guest arrives at whatever time of morning or afternoon, they should always welcome the guest to check in, especially if they've pre-paid. People are tired, have things to do, traveled in with luggage and/or long trip, or whatever the case may be. | |17. Nevertheless; overall, I enjoy the cozy feel of the rooms at this motel when avoiding turning on the lights (since they're bright white instead of cozy yellow/soft), and that the floor is carpet instead of wood floors. I also like that the windows have shade pull-downs in front of the black-out pull-downs (that keep people walking by, from seeing inside of the rooms) when you have that pull-down, up, for sunlight. ||###||[Date Review submitted first as an email to the motel: Thursday 5/8/25. Read moreHotel was nice, staff was great but the manager was a wicked witch. I had an incident on Sunday night. I wanted a cup of coffee, so I put their little coffee filter in the 4 cup machine, added only 3 cups of water cuz I like strong coffee. As I started drinking I noticed it had a funny taste. I figured their coffee was just old. In the morning I got up and was nauseated and had a stomach ache, but it was my 60th birthday and I wanted to enjoy the day with my friends. I made a fresh pot of coffee but used my own coffee blend. I noticed that the water reservoir would not take more than 3 cups of water and decided to see what was up. To my disgust and horror I found 2 old coffee pods shoved down inside the water reservoir and they were completely moldy. I was hoping that wasn't what was causing my upset stomach and nausea. I thoroughly cleaned out the coffee maker and ran hot water through it a couple of times just to make sure it was sanitized. As the morning progressed, so did my upset stomach and nausea. I started vomiting and had dysentery so badly that I couldn't leave the room and had to cancel the plans my friends has previously made for my birthday.
My friend called the front desk when she came over and saw my condition and since she was the one who reserved the room for 3 nights and paid for it. She.was told that the manager would be in on Tuesday morning by 9am and to please call back. She asked if i needed emergency medical help and both my friend and I felt it was ridiculous to go to the ER for now. If it should continue for more rhan 24 hours then I would definitely seek medical attention. The next morning all hell broke loose with the manager. She basically accused my friend of bringing me to the hotel when I was already sick and basically pulling a scam in them. Then she said that we have 3 people in our room when we only registered for 2. We tried explaining to her that another friend came by to celebrate my birthday because I was too sick to go out and that only 2 of us were sleeping there. The manager then told us that we are not allowed to have visitors in the room. It just got worse from there. She claimed that we refused to let housekeeping come in to change the sheets and towels and to clean the roon. We told her that we just slept in the bed one night and were trying to conserve just like their card said. If we don't need the linens changed It will help conserve energy and water. But the manager insinuated that we were trying to hide something and that by law they must come in to clean the room, vacuum the floor, dust the furniture, clean out the refrigerator, etc. We told her that was ridiculous but they can come in and inspect to their hearts content because we have nothing to hide. The housekeeping came, I opened the door and they refused to come in, even after i repeatedly asked them to. Finally one came in and cleaned up and vacuumed the rug and was done in 15 mins. I showed both the housekeepers the moldy coffee pods that were inside of the coffee maker and they thought it was disgusting. The manager said she didn't want or need to see it.
Basically we had ro call the Corporate headquarters, file a complaint and they sent us an email with the name and number of the general manager of this hotel. He apologized profusely and comped us for Wednesday night and gave us an additional hour to check out in the morning. My friend had to go to work in Mission Viejo and would be back later in the afternoon. I thought, o.k., I can sleep late and relax all day and try to get over the ill feeling that I had. But NO way was that nasty day manager going to allow that. She called me on the room phone, asked for my friend and I told her she was at work. She said then you call her and tell her that she needs to re-register and pay another $50 deposit for tonight and has 10 minutes to do it or you have to leave the property or I will call the police. It didn't get much better and neither one of us will ever stay there or recommend it to anyone. ...

It was an Orange interst State Ericion Buy, because of my wife is bedridden, and St Joesph Hospital is right next-door right to booking. I inquired as their cleaning this, and if you were up to standards of the ABA, which she guaranteed they are, but this isn’t you who in my wife is transported to the Days Inn leave medical transportation the room was not ready or sterilizer clean. There was an ABA approval, but because of the time period in which the medical field represent us were able to renew, we decide to stay, we brought in our own linen , we had the defense two vents cleaned in the bathroom, air condition clean and we also brought in specialized showerheads two days after we take possession of the groom my grandson there is bugs crawling over at the further investigation. I became aware that they have bedbugs did the bedbugs live bedbugs was shown to the assistant manager, along with a demand letter to rectify , here is that the rent was paid in advance. This is a Manager who guaranteed me a clean room imply that we brought in the bed bugs because we probably narrow supplies. I was furious when she said that so I contacted department of health. Meantime I read it’s coming up dude, so I decided OK just for a couple more days would go ahead and pay the rent. She refused to except it got your appointment she called the police on both of us for trespassing , how are you gonna trespass on that I love on my wife that’s basically bedridden she refused to refuse refuse it till the cop said OK this is what you gonna do your accept payments and extend our state just for 48 hours until we can make accommodations for her transportation but I know to mean the 24 hour 48 hours landed on a Saturday the Medical avalanche does not work on Saturday so on Monday, she called police again what is asked to be escorted out of the property trash man the city of Orange police insist that we were trespassing and any times that we may have against her it will be civil which I explain to them that we have a contract in which she breach the contract when she was notified via email and text of the outstanding bedbug that was taken to death years so we’re forced to vacate. That’s a vacate was basically very costly not only was there and the transportation had to be set with bringing a U-Haul for equipment that was out that we brought in for basically she would be comfortable Washington day, Saturday, and Sunday in which she refused to accept payments by mean she excepted payments at the request of ice PD now according to California law that we’re entitled to full refund on what we paid for rent she’s declined it claiming that we brought Endie so tomorrow’s a Store Ithis Days in a main street has bedbugs, bedbugs, bedbugs you are paying...
