I don't even know where to start . The app horrible the service even worse the food was cold the chicken was burnt and the steak looked like it was cut in half before it was served. The best part they didn't even put one of my salads in my to- go bag so when I get home one person didn't have salad with there meal . And there curbside pickup was a joke . I waited and waited and was told I had to come inside and get my food then I was forced to wait in line for 20 minutes. I thought the whole point of ordering a To go order was to avoid waiting inline and going inside. My family was completely disappointed. Then management offers us a discount on our next order. How is that helping us , do you think we want to pay for food and service like that again even if it's at a discount price. I responded to managements email and told them I just wanted a refund and of course they never responded. that's the type of customer service they offer. This is the second location me and my family had a issue with. The Walden location was 10x worse. The food the service and the management was just horrible. I was there with my 2-year-old granddaughter who was forced to wait 28 minutes for a plate of macaroni and cheese and when the waiter finally brought the macaroni and cheese he didn't bring my granddaughter a utensil and that took another 15 minutes. He left a 2-year-old there sitting there eating with her fingers. That's the service they provided. We work too hard for our money. Be aware the next time you decide to go into an Applebee's restaurant . It's not too much to ask that we get hot food served with a smile what common courtesy from a waiter and when we place an order online for curbside pickup. Just like a service they're supposed to provide they should bring it out to my vehicle I don't believe that's too much to ask and that is the reason why we would never return...

I'll list some personal experiences that really encapsulate how this specific location operates. One simple time matter, another fairly health concerning.
The serious one: The place is straight disgusting, like actually filthy. Bar flies EVERYWHERE. You cannot order a drink without finding at least 2 bugs MINIMUM in it. You actively see them flying throughout the restaurant. It's not enough of a 'priority' for them to care about. If you've ordered a drink at Applebees, you've eaten bugs. I'm sorry to be the one to bring you this news.
Not nearly as serious: Placed an online order for pickup, after confirming their close time was in 30 minutes I walked up, arriving near the door about 6-10 minutes to their close time. As I walk to their carryout door I see an employee make eye contact with me, rush quickly to the door I was heading to and lock it. Maybe they assumed I was going to try and take a table in their last 5 minutes, But either way, instead I was denied my food I had already paid for, was ignored at the door and locked out of the establishment when they shouldn't have been closed yet.
The Employees: Hate their job. Bartender's seem like they're not completely miserable but most of the serving staff seem like their 5 minutes from quitting on the spot and I don't blame 'em. The entire culture of this bar/restaurant is 'decrepit decay', let's microwave your chicken in the 2010 microwave while we waft away the bugs from your drinks and have it served by someone who is deciding if life is even worth it...
