Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Buffalo, MN — Hotel in Buffalo

I have stayed at this location multiple times and have never been disappointed. It is always clean and I feel very safe at all times. The staff is always friendly but this visit was extra special. I am a Platinum Member and each Choice hotel handles it very differently. Unfortunately, sometimes the person that checks me in doesn't acknowledge my loyalty. Jessica checked me in. She was extremely busy with phone calls, and other guests but she was so patient and even though the hotel was very busy she first looked for an upgrade for me (if upgrades are available platinum members are given an upgrade) there weren't any available, I then asked her for a first floor room (this location doesn't have an elevator). She took her time looking and then apologized as one wasn't available. She was patient and friendly with me the entire time. She then gave me a gift bag with 2 bottles of water, chips and multiple fun size candy bars. The next day, I arrived at breakfast with 5 minutes left. She greeted me right away and noticed that there was only 1 denver omelet left. She apologized and said she would be right back with more. I told her not to worry about (I hate pepper and onions) and there were plenty of potatoes left. For me to come with 5 minutes left and there was still an omelet left and for her to offer to make more is above and beyond and I am grateful. It is so nice to start the day feeling cared for. I stayed at this hotel with friends for a wedding this past weekend. I mistakenly left my wedding clutch with ID and debit card in the room--I take full ownership of this. They called upon cleaning our room to let me know they had found it. I spoke to the front staff and asked if they could mail it. I told them I had recently moved so the address on my ID was incorrect. She informed me the manager would call me Monday morning to get my address and form of payment for the shipping--I felt so relieved. Monday came, no call. Tuesday came, no call. I called Tuesday afternoon and they informed me the manager wasn't there but that my clutch was "probably" sent. I AGAIN informed them that the address is not correct and asked why the manager didn't cal before shipping as I was informed she would. Stafd informed me that the manager would call me on Wednesday (today). I just called them after not hearing as I am concerned my identification is being sent to an OLD address. Shocker... manager isn't there! I am so irritated with the disorganization of this hotel and the manager. Our Summer home away from home. We call this home base for a nearby family reunion every year and love the comfortable, clean facilities and family friendly vibe. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and they stick around year after year, you can tell they like what they do and strive to provide the best possible experience for you. In true midwestern spirit there’s always people hanging out and talking in the front lounge and lobby kitchen areas so feel free to amass the troops there before you head out for the day, chances are you’ll end up in a conversation with someone you’ve never met before which tends to be a fun experience. The rooms are maintained at a very high level of order and cleanliness and we’ve always felt safe leaving our bags during the day. The pool facility is always clean and they offer a work out room which I confess I have never used. A work center is available to guests with a computer and printing capabilities, and wifi and televisions are provided with each room. This is an overall great place to stay during your trip and is always our recommendation to family who are attending the reunion for the first time. I’d give more than five...
