Come on Jim's!!! I'm being generous right now by giving you 3 stars! I love your food and it's been a while since I had it since I now live in California. I'm born and raised in Buffalo and have known the chicken finger sub for as long as I can remember. Tonight's order would have been perfect if not for a footlong piece of female hair in my Jim's Bleu!
Luckily I caught it before I took a bite. Now....I could've not finished it and brought the sub back but with kids and dogs in the house and a hungry group - I was hungry and so I removed the hair and ate the sub.
My wife wanted to call it in and go through all that but I told her that I don't trust that just from past experiences. I've learned that not everyone is trustworthy and if you complain about food at a restaurant.....Yea... Maybe that next serving may have something special waiting for complaining...it sounds nasty but it's real!
Anyways, the sub was delicious, hot and fresh. Next time, please hold the hair! Thanks.
I'm hoping next order I can give you the 5-STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ you...
Read moreI've eaten at various Jim's locations for over 20 years. I understand the gripes over the lack of quality and consistency, even at the same location. I hadn't eaten at the Delaware site in years. We went to this Jim's (June 7, 2024) after being out near Buff State. I chose this one because it has a parking lot, unlike the tiny one at near Elmwood Jim's that everyone uses. The wait was minimal, and there were plenty of tables to accommodate everyone. I got the Jim's Hot Bleu, and it was the best one I've had in a long time. My friend got a steak and cheese sub. They, too, said it was fantastic. I attribute that to the staff. Why? Because whenever I get food that is subpar, from anywhere, I take into account the day, time, and if it's busy-which isn't an excuse for them. However, some places just have good staff that get the job done well despite staffing issues and if it's busy. Well done, Jim's Delaware staff! Btw I enjoy tipping at Jim's because they all...

As such, after a night out, I once again had the fine pleasure of getting aqauinted. Like long lost twins in the night, I found myself darkening your door step more horizontal than vertical...as always. Torn between 2 lovers, the Diavalo and the Jave (Jefferson Ave). I was struck with a once in a generation genius...."add cherry peppers to the Jave bb boi!"
What a delight to all with the exception of my shirt as I housed a newly incepted ”Jiavalo" (you can use that) secretly, as we dont talk about sneaky snacks on a quiet NOBO street at the cusp of a new day.
Kudos to you! fair Jimothy, as a fine purveyor of late night bites to those of us who dare greet...
