Located on Main Street in Buffalo, Sato Ramen offers a delightful dining experience for ramen enthusiasts and food aficionados alike. The ramen at Sato Ramen is undeniably satisfying. Each bowl boasts rich, flavorful broth that's a testament to the care and expertise put into its preparation. Whether you prefer a traditional tonkotsu or a lighter miso broth, Sato Ramen delivers on taste and authenticity. The noodles are cooked to perfection, striking a delicate balance between chewy and tender. One standout dish at Sato Ramen is the crispy chicken, which can only be described as phenomenal. The chicken is expertly fried to achieve a crispy exterior while maintaining juicy tenderness inside. The combination of spices and seasoning elevates the dish to a level of culinary excellence that keeps patrons coming back for more. Beyond the exceptional food, Sato Ramen offers a unique ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience. The concept of allowing patrons to draw and contribute to the wall decor is both creative and engaging. It fosters a sense of community and adds a personal touch to the restaurant, making each visit a memorable one. In conclusion, Sato Ramen on Main Street in Buffalo is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic ramen and delicious Japanese-inspired dishes. With flavorful ramen, phenomenal crispy chicken, and an inviting atmosphere, Sato Ramen stands out as a gem in Buffalo's culinary scene.

So today was my 1st time coming to Sato Ramen. Tbh i had higher expectations.... So anyway I had a black cherry soda, Curry Ramen with pork and some pan fried gyōza dumplings and some spring rolls. The soda was cool. When I opened it what looked like smoke ish gas was coming out in a swirl πŸ‘€ 😲 The Curry Ramen... was very disappointing 😒 the taste reminded me of chicken noodle soup and I even had like steamed potatoes, corn, and carrot in it along with some green onion etc. It was not spicy so I was sad 😭 the flavor was not there. I had to add Sriracha sauce that was on the table for it to be spicy but it still doesn't make up for the Curry flavor. πŸ‘Ž also the pork was dry and it didn't absorb the broth . The boiled egg though was good ✌ The gyōza dumplings were very good but pricey. Excellent flavor already before even using the soy sauce. Nice and lightweight. The spring rolls were okay. The sauce though was the bomb πŸ’£ πŸ’‹ and paired well to give it a nice kick in ur mouth mwah! The drawings and art are so cute btw This place is small, and dimly lit. There aren't many tables. It was worth trying but I don't think I'll come back unless I have the spicy miso Ramen which my service worker had and she said it actually was spicy 😾

Great Japanese ramen experience. The broth and chashu pork were the strong points of the ramen. We tried the Spicy Miso Ramen, Pork Gyoza, Buffalo Chicken Ramen, and the Iced Matcha Latte. The spicy miso adds a nice flavor kick to a thick, rich pork and chicken broth. My only complaint is the noodles, or パン(men), which aren't any better than a pack of dried noodles from the grocery store. The pork gyoza were simply amazing. Served with green onions and Sato's soy sauce mix, they were better than any gyoza I've had in the US, and better than some places I've been to in Tokyo. I have mixed feelings about the Buffalo Chicken Ramen. It's faithful to the Buffalo chicken wing flavor, but seems to lose all of the flavors of Japanese ramen in the process. That's not to say it isn't good - it is very good - just don't expect the wrong idea. Last, but not least, the Iced Matcha Latte was fantastic. It was a delicious smack of cinnamon and macha flavors that reminded me of the Matcha KitKats sold in Japan. γ”γ‘γγ†γ•γΎγ§γ—γŸοΌ

The night of October 24th was the worst service I've ever recieved from Sato Ramen. Its taken me a while to figure out how to word my review. My husband and I use to frequent Sato Ramen for a couple of years until almost 2 years ago. We moved further away and at the same time we noticed the quality of food decreasing.

On October 24th my sister, husband, and I had a bad experience. Our orders were terribly mixed up. I ordered spicy misp and instead received regular broth with my husband's extra noodles. The employee claimed my spicy miso flavor was at the bottom of the bowl, but that is not ever how it was served to me in the past. I've ordered this dish many times in the past. My sister let me try her because she said hers was aittle spicy when it shouldn't be. I confirmed it and realized my spicy miso was in her dish. When my dish was returned they claimed it had extra spicy miso. I gave up and ate it. They added double of every ingredient which meant I didn't get to enjoy the broth which was barely spicy. The other issue was the pork not being chashu pork. I've made my own chashu pork before and the pork in my dish was clearly not chashu. It was. Learly some pot roast style pork. Mine was dry and tasted awful in my Ramen. I took home leftovers and after reheating it it tasted awful.

I felt terrible for my husband since he was treating my sister and I. I've been craving Sato Ramen for months and ended up with disappointment after my last visit. I also felt my husband wasted his money on terrible quality food. The current employees have no knowledge of how to identify the different dishes of food and easily mix up the contents of each order.

I hope something is corrected because all of my friends and i would say this was the place to get Ramen. Now none of us want to go here for Ramen.

Edit: like another review claimed, all 3 Ramen were missing there egg and...

tl;dr: great tasting ramen with good portions but always out of stock and management NEEDS to enforce a "don't seat yourself" rule!!!

I really love the ramen here. It's a good portion for a good price with authentic ramen and great amazing broth. That said, other than ramen, there's not much to write home about. No soft drinks other than overpriced ramune, teas, and wine. The ramen is only reason I come here rather than the full restaurant.

So it's super disappointing that every time I come here lately they're out of everything, including one of their broths that's not available at the full restaurant. Tonight there was pretty much nothing but the Sato ramen base, which is available at the full restaurant, and this was only at 7pm! This problem has gotten worse ever since they started participating in Skip-The-Dishes but management should have addressed this stocking problem a long time ago when they're out of something EVERY DAY. Order more stock!!!!

We left because there was nothing we'd even want left on the menu. Not to mention we were still waiting when we left bc the waiter couldn't tell the trashy couple that sat themselves at the dirty table to wait to be seated, leaving no room for our group. It's a communial restaurant so when people seat themselves away from others bc they don't want to sit next to kids, they mess up wait times for everyone else. There needs to be a sign not to seat yourselves and the waiters and management need to uphold it. This isn't fair to people waiting to be seated as they should!!!!

I love the ramen here and it's upsetting that so often after I make such a long drive, I wait so long to be seated bc people seat themselves, and THEN I'm told they're out of everything, rather than this being marked on the large wall menu when you walk in.

Fix your stocking problems. Enforce a...

I went here because I heard good things from coworkers and read good things on reddit about this place.

Going in I had a very good vibe and liked the look and atmosphere. However, the gentleman at the front put me off, he was not friendly and pretty rude. I ignored it and just left with my order. Upon getting home I was missing an item in my order. I tried calling to just get a refund for that item and was not able to get a hold of anyone. So, I had to drive all the way back to get my item. I let them know and there was no "sorry" or anything just an "oh" and then they made it. They did make it pretty quick which I appreciated but I was watching them do it and they just threw it around. Absolutely none of the employees looked happy there and none of them were friendly, all very rude.

So, fast forward to getting home my food was cold by now so I just reheated the broth which wasn't a big deal. The food looked delicious but.....I was severely disappointed. We got the Sato Ramen and the Tonkatsu ramen. Both of them were lacking flavor, there was no strong umami or savory flavor. The eggs were not even proper ramen eggs, they were just soft boiled eggs. The only thing I can say that was good, which is the only reason it gets 2/5 stars is the pork. It was pretty tasty. Besides that everything was lacking in flavor.

To top it all off, I do NOT think the price of this place is worth it. You don't get quality or even a good amount of food for the price.

Don't waste your money or time. 2/5 stars. Will never...
