I love this Starbucks. The staff & the food & everything.. I just don't understand how people can lie about things on these reviews. Especially about a service dog that's NOT a service dog. And the only reason I know its not a service dog is because I live in the same building as the dog & I witness the dog jumping all over people in the hallway everytime it see someone. It acts like a playful puppy that wants to be played with.. THAT'S NOT WHAT A SERVICE DOG DOES!! I have both friends & family that have service & comfort dogs & they don't act the way this dog does.. The dog does not act like a service dog at all cuz if it was it wouldn't act the way it does when it see people or bark when OWNER is not home... So if this dog is a so call service dog shouldn't the dog be with the owner at all times at home & when leaving?!?!?!?! Isn't that the point of a service dog in case something happens medically to the owner!! So don't blame the store cuz of your stupidity!! If people weren't so strung out on drugs all the time... Then maybe they can follow the rules & wouldn't get yell at all the time when it saids no non service/comfort animals in the store per Starbucks website. Ugh🤦🤦 KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB STARBUCKS!! See youse soon!!...
Read moreI can't understand why anyone would choose any Starbucks over the much more appealing local coffee shops, such as Spot Coffee in Buffalo. This particular location used to be comfortable and cozy as well with some couch-like seating, large and small tables, and lots of seating nicely scattered around.
I have lots of memories of meeting up with friends here during my college years, and I always enjoyed the vibe. Now, it's completely changed - it's practically empty! There are a few tables and uncomfortable chairs around, but the rest of it is empty. It's also no longer possible to go to the little island and add the toppings, cream, and/or sugar that you want, as well as grab a napkin or two. None of that stuff is available any longer.
I've noticed the same issues at other Starbucks across the country, so it must be corp-mandated. Can't imagine why. The local coffee shops offer all of that and more. And, they always have better-tasting coffee and deserts, and lower prices. But, most of all, they're as cozy and comfortable as Starbucks USED to be. And, you can actually add your own sugar and toppings to your drink. ...
Read moreI loved the former manager Michael at this store SO much that at one time I had made my passwords for all my accounts a variation of his last name. He had a legendary sense of humor, and a personality more unique than even the finest eccentric circus actors of yesteryear.
Truly; he even personally rushed me to the hospital when I passed out and fell within inches of life from the throws of a mysterious alien induced panic attack. Being around him for stretches of time caused one to feel as if they were steeped in a waking dream full of supernatural jolliness, and exotic Russian spices.
His team was a well oiled machine; easily the best Starbucks in the State of New York, if not the Nation. Mike's tightly curated atmosphere of trust and respect transcended worldly expectations, and generated a harmonious and energetic buzz which carried over into the personal lives of every customer who entered the store during those years..
Apparently he was fired because he didn't fit 'the corporate mold..'
All I can say is that I will be petitioning this Starbucks, and lying beneath the tree out front until he is given back his...
