I normally avoid this type of cuisine because of so many bad experiences in the past. Hubby got a small bonus check so we wanted to grab some take away. Google told me what places were open and since my husband was by Home Depot I sent him here. He asked if the Massaman curry had peanuts like it traditionally does. The lady who took his order made sure to tell those cooking to make it fresh due to a peanut allergy. This made me willing to come back as many restaurants think people claim an allergy for fresh food or because they want to be “healthier”. In this case I have epi-pens all over the house and always with my son because of his peanut allergy. He is only 3. The Curry was amazing. Only curry I have had before was Vietnamese Curry. I was pleasantly surprised and I will definitely be ordering it again when my parents come into town (as long as there is no msg as my dad is intolerant to it.) We got the kids sweet and sour chicken and it was the best I have had. Normally is it a thick red sauce that seems like colored corn syrup. This is the perfect texture and flavor. Read moreI had placed an order last night around 10 minutes to 7. On the website it says to at least give them 20 minutes for orders under $50, which mine was. After an hour goes by I call the store to see where my order is. The lady who answered said "Oh yes, driver on way", which my response was "Ok, but an hour is a little ridiculous." So another 30 minutes go by, keep in mind the store is only 3 miles from my home, and then the driver shows up. I asked him what had happened and that I was told that he would have been to my home almost 30 minutes prior. His only response was, "ohhh, sorry we very busy tonight.", which in turn I asked for some sort of compensation for the long delay and no call from the store telling of the situation. He was not in a position to do so, so I had decided that I will not be ordering from there again. If you cannot be courteous enough to call your customers and at least tell them "hey, we are very busy and it will take longer than normal for your order.", then you do not deserve...
Read moreI ordered food through grubhub for me and my family because I'm not feeling well. I asked for a no contact delivery but the delivery person wouldn't leave. When I opened the door I told him that I'm sick, please place it on the table. he stated that the receipt said "cash" . I put it on a credit card, I saw the charge and I know everything went through. After going back and forth he finally said "you said cash for tip " I replied "no, that will be on the card as well" he argued with me and then walked away saying "if you don't want to tip me that's fine!" I know the restaurant does their own deliveries and it wasn't a grub hub driver. I added the tip but not as much as I would've if he wouldn't have been so argumentative.
