Limestone Mexican Grill & Seafood — Restaurant in Bulverde

Update 7/30/21. Came back gave second chance. Service was so slow. Was in the restaurant for one hour 30 minutes. Was asked one time if we were okay . Watched our waitress sitting at the booth talking to other worker for 15 minutes till we were able to get another wait staff to retrieve her with our tab. Brought tab and went and sat down AGAIN talking. Sorry to say I doubt I’ll return. Very sad because food is not bad. FYI our waitress was Gabby possibly related to the owner.

Have eaten here several times before but tonight was not enjoyable. Waitress spoke broken English which is okay but think she really didn't understand. After requesting no lemon in tea, twice she brought it with 2 lemon slices . Then on third glass finally got it right. Order crispy taco plate 2chicken 1 beef came totally opposite. But the best was when I informed her the chips were hard & stale she just looked at me didn't offer to bring new basket. Just walked away. Needless to say no tip for her ! Plates of prepared food were good though . Very disappointed tonight...

We've eaten here twice, but won't return. The flavor of the food was decent. The beef fajitas have good flavor, the salsa, rice and beans were middle of the road. But my husband nearly chipped his tooth when he bit on an old dirty, rusty metal washer in his fajitas. It was gross, with old bits of something crusted in it. We told the waitress, and she went to the kitchen. When she came back, she said, "It's fine, it was just a part from one of the pot handles. We still refunded you half the cost of the fajitas, even though it's fine." Nevermind the sanitary issue (I couldn't finish anymore food after that), or that someone's especially the kids, could have choked on it or chipped a tooth, but the total lack of concern from the staff was strange. When she walked away we wondered if this must happen frequently. No manager or other staff came to say anything, and I'm surprised their remedy was to onlyonly half the price of the ruined fajitas. Having worked in restaurants, this tells me a lot about the concern for cleanliness in the kitchen, so we...

walking up to the door the area was not cleaned. actually walking in, we were greeted nicely by the cook overlooking through an opened window from his cooking area and also a guy that walked up to us to seat us and took our order as well. The amount of food served was surprising meaning a large portion and tasty. Then ….my husband had a look, told me, don’t freak out. I knew what that meant so I stood up right away!! A one inch Roach ran across our table!! My husband went around try to catch it with a napkin. Then when he smashed it took it to the guy in the back. He did say sorry and that there had been a water leak although I know that that size of brown roach if you see one there are many more around. No mention of not charging for what happened or even a discount. . They said sorry while giving us our bill lol and still charged us. So needless to say I stopped eating and won’t be back...
