It's awkward enough for me to enter a restaurant by myself. After a long day at work I desided to TREAT myself for mother's day. So I'm here SEATING in a table all by myself. So IMAGINE how uncomfortable it was for my to see all this people coming in after me and getting their food while still WAITING for the stupid server to acknowledge my presence.

Very desapointed, I have been meaning to come to this place for a while. Today I finally desided to come in. I should of never coming. I seat here at a point where I was getting ungry. I littlely had to wait over 45 min for the woman here to take my oder. A group of 5 came in like 20 min after I did and they're eating already. I have no clue why. But they need to step up a little. If you have the desire for Chinese food go to Wokano. Better food DEFENATLY BETTER SERVICE. I hope the owner reads the reviews and acknowledge their poor CUSTUMER SERVICE HERE. Very important point. I was assessing the place for our family get together for my son's graduation. NOT HAPPENING. HAD TO GET UP AND GET SOY SOUCE. THE LADY HERE IS LIKE IN HER OWN LITTLE WORLD. A CUSTUMER IS A CUSTUMER. I KNOW THW PROFIR FROM BIG GROUPS. IS JIST ME NOW. HOWEVER MY MONEY IS JUST AS GREEN AS THW BIG GROUPS. VERY UPSETTING. Still waiting for...

Horrible service. I ordered sweet & sour pork. It was purple from the inside. I asked for a refund & showed her the food. She said it’s real chicken (which isn’t what I ordered) & that im the only one that has complained. I said so real pork is supposed to be purple ? She didn’t want to give me a refund or even provide customer service. I was being respectful & reasonable. She just started yelling at me. I asked to speak with the manager. She claimed she doesn’t know who the manager is or their name & that they weren’t there. I asked for her name & she didn’t want to tell me either. I said so you work here & you don’t know who your boss is ? She eventually called someone & passed me the phone. I spoke to a very very young girl who said she was the manager. (I’m pretty sure she was her daughter or friend.) I explained the situation & right away the little girl told me they’ll give me a refund. It was really weird even after she refunded me she didn’t want to tell me the name of person who I spoke to on the phone or even her name. I would like to complain or report them but I don’t know how to go about it since I don’t even know who...

This is my go-to spot for food after a trip. The last thing you want to do when you come home from traveling is cook and this restaurant always hits the spot! Lots of vegetables, large portions, fresh hot green tea and soup with each meal when you eat in. They have lunch and dinner combos, but honestly everything on their menu is awesome. My favorites include orange chicken, szechwan sliced bbq pork, mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp and the dish I order every single time I go: buddha’s delight. It’s packed with various vegetables in a slightly sweet sauce that delivers the nutrients your body is craving.

They offer take out, but I suggest dining in to get the full experience. The walls are decorated with a mix of artwork and images of their food while a pop station plays in the background. You’ll sometimes find the kids doing homework at one of the tables during the week. They’re sustainability friendly too, so if you’d like them to package something up in your own container, they’re happy to do so. So grateful to have a traditional chinese restaurant that’s run by a family like this...

Sun Moon Garden is a hidden gem in Burbank. I was recommended to try the restaurant. I went in and met Lynn at the front desk. She was friendly and welcoming. I asked her what the most popular plate was and she said “All of them”. Later I found out that she was correct Sum Moon Garden has been around since 2001. It is a family run business and they have consistent regulars. Every time I go there, the orders are on the table ready to be picked up. There is a constant stream of people coming in and out. I went with the Kung Pao chicken, fried rice and hot and sour soup. Look at my photos. The Kung pao chicken is delicious. I think that this is the best hot and sour soap that I have ever had. The soap is heavy and full of flavor. The location is located on a bend and very easy to miss. There is plenty of parking. Pick up orders are ready in 15 minutes. You will love Sun Moon Garden.

Soooo slow service and they finally rushed the order for a lady sitting there for 30 mins, cos she asked on why her order is so slow? Then they rushed out to go orders first while the rest of the dine in customers waited even longer. Wayyyy too salty and oily, even for an Americanized Chinese place. My family had to keep dunking water to wash their palette. Worse part? The shrimps are rotten! When we finish paying the bill, then told them AND showed them. The lady’s response was, there’s NO reason that the shrimp will be spoilt. I then said it’s best they tell the kitchen. She went to let them know, but still no apology for having the slowest service and serving rotten food. Then tried making small talk to ask if we are tourists. Not sure why the reviews are so good about this place, the reason why we came. Never again.
