LASHED & POLISHED — Local services in Burbank

I was not satisfied with my experience at Lashed and Polished. When I went in, the salon always empty and there was one employee there. I asked for a list of services or a pamphlet with prices since they are not listed anywhere. I was told that they didn’t have anything like that but they could do what I needed (gel-X soak off, gel manicure and regular pedicure). I should’ve asked for prices before continuing. The woman (the owner, Cindy) started by soaking off my gel-X manicure. I could tell she was not confident while she was working on my hands but decided to stay as it was a small business and wanted to show my support. Unfortunately my experience continued to be a negative one. 3 hours later, I had cuts on my cuticles and a bumpy gel manicure. My pedicure was okay but again, I could tell she was not experienced working on feet and my nails were not cut properly and were crooked. To be fair, she did ask how I felt but I didn’t have the time to have it fixed as I had already been there for 3 hours. Cindy just opened up this location in Burbank, and I am so glad I had the chance to support a new business.

Cindy and her team took such great care of us. They were professional and efficient, the space is gorgeous inside and so comfortable, and my nails came out absolutely beautiful. I didn’t have long nails for them to work with, but they still made them look great!

I forgot to warn them that my skin can be sensitive, and that I don’t do my nails often. My cuticles complained a little at first, so I mentioned it, and she was switched to a lighter approach to accommodate me. Thank you!!

Found this new spot because Monique, the facialist had a Mother's day special package. I bought a bundle of 3 for my Mom and myself. So far, I have had 2 done. Monique took her time and got to know my skin. She is very knowledgeable on products and recommendations. I really like her vibe. We chat a lot during my facials because I'm a talker. Lol. My Mom went right after work and fell asleep during hers. No matter what you prefer she can cater to you. So sweet and welcoming. I'm definitely making facials more of a priority and will continue to schedule...
