I called Ryan two days before flying out to Seattle to help me select a case of wine for a college friends weekend gathering. I asked him to select Washington state wines with a variety of grapes. I also asked him to make a cheese and meat tray which I saw on his menu list. I flew in Saturday at noon and he opened a little early for me and he graciously went over his wine selections with concise explanations and offered some substitute options. We have seen this spot for a year or more and had been intrigued to try it. Today we decided to ventur out for a wine tasting. Their wine tasting was a good time. $10 for 4-6 quarter glasses of different wines or you can buy a bottle of wine and they'll wave the tasting fee. The owners are extremely knowledgable as well as being non-judgemental; if you know nothing about wine, or can only stand very sweet wines they're happy to offer available options while educating you on the best grapes/regions/wine types for your tastes.
