Great Food!👍 Nice spread on the menu, very good service, waiting time, excellent! I first dine a week ago & as the saying goes first impression last... A week later I came back, obviously because I like food, service etc. The first visit I paid using my debit card, what I don't like was my card was taken elsewhere which is the standard now in every business, gadgets for cards must be brought on the table, in the case of restaurants. Anyway, again obviously because I like the food etc the next visit I just paid in cash. When I checked my account which I always do , I was charged twice!!! Today I had a chance to dropped by the resto and talked to the manager about my concerns, but it seems they have a standard (?) reply on my queries that they had a computer brakedown? To cut it short the manager only said they will call me whenever, whatever! .. When a Costomer go back to your resto and take tome to inform you about to this kind of serious ( kinda fraud) concern , isnt it but the outmost remedy is to resolved it outright? The manager was in a hurry to end the conversation when the place was almost empty at the time, only the bar were occupied with 3 tables!
Asked me to write my name in paper when my name already printed on it ! Such a waste of time! Probably because the amount in question was not substantial that's why she acted that way? But charging your customers for the bill twice is a serious lapse (?) ... It can build bad reputation on your business!
No amount of excuse of charging Costomer twice can be acceptable especially when its not handled...
Read moreI had a genuinely great experience here. From the moment I walked in, the hospitality stood out. The service was excellent—5/5. Staff were warm, attentive, and professional, striking the perfect balance between being available and giving space. It felt like they truly cared about providing a good experience, and it showed throughout the evening.
The highlight of the meal was without question the jambalaya grits—an easy 5/5. Rich, creamy, and deeply flavorful, the dish was a perfect balance of comfort and decadence. The shrimp and sausage were perfectly seasoned, and the grits had a silky texture that tied everything together beautifully. It’s the kind of dish that leaves a lasting impression.
The atmosphere was inviting and well thought-out—4/5. The space had a great energy without being too loud, with lighting and decor that created a relaxed but vibrant setting. A few small touches could elevate it even more, but overall, it made for a very enjoyable environment to dine in.
Cost comes in at 4/5. It’s a bit on the higher end, but considering the quality of the food and service, it felt fair. You’re paying for more than just a meal—you’re getting a well-rounded experience.
Final thoughts: This is a spot that really delivers. Great service, memorable food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back—and recommending it to others who are looking for something a little special without feeling...
Read moreI don't like to give 5-star ratings, but this place... this. PLACE! Is the menu a landscape of classic eats as the name implies, well yes, kinda. But it's those classics with serious flair. I had the Red Rock Meatloaf with the mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. The meatloaf was a combination of ground Angus beef and chorizo with a topping of Baja gravy and onion strings that combined both flavor and texture into a collected whole that is incomparable to anything else I've ever had. The potatoes were smooth with a gravy that was neither heavy nor to light but just... "so". The asparagus was roasted just to the point of perfection with the right amount of both snap and chew that one could savor each bite for minutes at a time. The service? Well Irving (sp?) was an absolute delight. His suggestions (like the meal above as well as dessert) were obviously spot-on and he still had a friendly energy despite the late hour. The atmosphere was open and fun with a hint of nostalgia that felt really comfortable. Everything was just enough of the right stuff without being "over-the-top". It was the right amount of classic with just enough "new". It was both substance and flair and not to much of either. If I were to sum up my experience into a single...
