Luxury Nail — Local services in Burien

Went to get a full set. I asked if they had apple pay & they said yes but made me pay first to make sure it worked. The lady didn’t file my nails correctly & after she applied the clear coat she left balls of clear coat on the ends & didn’t even file it off to fix it. Also for 1 small gemstone on each nail was $15. She also left tons of glue below and around my cuticles on every single finger! I was so embarrassed and mad to even say anything.

After filling the nails salons usually tell you to get up and wash your hands to remove the dust but here they didn’t tell me to wash my hands & she even put oil on my hands with dust all over them.

Another thing I didn’t like is when they hand you the receipt they tell you you can put the tip at the bottom of the receipt. Makes me feel forced to give a tip for a service I didn’t like. They should just give the customer their receipt without standing there & making comments about a tip.

I had a truly awful experience at this nail salon. Hygiene and cleanliness were clearly not a priority here, and it made the whole visit feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The tools they used were not sanitized, and the towels were stained and smelled bad. The pedicure tub was filthy and discolored, and to make matters worse, they removed the disposable tub liner and actually tried to get me to put my feet back into the dirty water. That was a huge red flag for me. They tried to use a rusty cheese grater on my feet and an old, dirty used nail file, which is both unprofessional and potentially dangerous. The technician wore dirty gloves while handling products, then didn’t even wear gloves at all when cutting my nails toward the end of the service. As if all that weren’t bad enough, they were also very pushy about tips, which made the whole experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. I would never return here and strongly recommend others avoid this place. There are far cleaner and more professional salons out there. Honestly not sure how they haven’t been shut down by the...

So I came to this nail salon because I was in this town with my fiance as we were celebrating for my birthday and he treated me to go get my nails done. I needed a new set of gel acrylics done and wanted a eyebrow wax. When I first asked how much everything would be she says 75 dollars. Which I thought was a bit much but fiance said it was fine. Well as she's in the process of doing my nails shes picking at the fake nails to get them off with a tool. She continued for a while doing it and I finally said can we soak them in acetone? She finally soaks them and they come off. She does the nails and all and all the nails come out alright. Then she says after there done drying ok your done. Then I say well what about the eyebrow waxing. She goes oh you wanted that too? I say yes. I go to the back and she says sorry the wax isnt hot yet I told her I'd wait. She then says well that's 15 now just for eyebrows. They turned out ok but probably not going back here and going back to place I usually go which charges me cheaper...
