During my visit through the drive-thru, I was assisted by an employee who identified herself as the manager. When I pulled up to the window, she stated that my total was "$54," which seemed incorrect for what I ordered. I asked for clarification, and she again repeated the amount. I then responded, “Huh? For what I ordered?” She smirked and stated "$15.43" instead. When I asked if there was an issue with me questioning the total, her tone became defensive and unprofessional. My husband calmly pointed out that there was no need for attitude, to which she responded by calling us rude. When I asked to speak to the manager, she told me she was the manager. I then expressed my concern with her attitude and let her know that she was acting inappropriately. At that point, she snatched my card from my hand and told me I “needed to clean [my] ears,” insisting again that she had said “15,” not “54.” She handed back my card along with the order. As she was closing the window, I asked for a receipt, which only seemed to escalate her behavior. She continued raising her voice and argued with me while searching through previous orders for my receipt. Eventually, another employee came to the window, asked her to walk away, and handed me the receipt himself. He apologized for the situation and wished us a good day — a gesture that I genuinely appreciated and acknowledged. However, the conduct of the manager, Eloisas, was completely inappropriate and unacceptable for someone in a leadership role. Her aggressive tone, dismissive attitude, and overall lack of professionalism left a lasting negative impression. No customer should be met with hostility simply for clarifying a total. I am requesting that this complaint be formally reviewed and that appropriate action is taken to address this behavior. The food has NEVER been ready and I have always had to wait. All I want is two original chicken breasts for myself and two grilled items for my wife. Today the wife had to wait 10 minutes and when she got home we were missing the cold slaw we had paid for and she was given two original pieces of chicken instead of the grilled she ordered. The ticket was correct, but the person who filled the order put in the wrong stuff - she is allergic to the original. The time prior when I went in there was a 20 minute wait for the original chicken breasts so I asked for grilled and there were only three pieces of that as well. The three times prior I had to wait and twice I had the wrong order when I got home. Make sure you check your order before driving away and be prepared to wait. This is the worst KFC I have ever experienced and we drive to the Tuckwilla KFC now because the Burien KFC is rediculous. There is only one person at the counter who takes the order and then fills it so the wait is long. There is one person for the drive up who takes the order and then fills it and there is one person who does the cooking. First, I thought she was being sarcastic and pulling my leg, but that wasn’t the case. First, she told me that they were out of chicken and when I asked, are you out of chicken or are you just not making more she said no we’re out of chicken and then I said well what about tomorrow and she said well tomorrow you can come and get some chicken and I said how can I come get some chicken tomorrow if you’re not getting an order tonight Where will the chicken tomorrow even come from well… Then she became honest and said well. We have some we’re just not making anymore sorry. Tell me how does chicken extend their hours to 11 PM but not prepare chicken until 11 PM? This is The result of terrible management.
