I got delivery and was so grateful Doordash can get me Ethiopian food in Federal Way! Although I prefer in person, sometimes I do not want to drive. The food was very good. I always get the Veggie Combo at Ethiopian places because I am a vegetarian. This one did not disappoint, and they did a great job packaging for to-go (like putting the salad separately, unlike a lot of other Ethiopian restaurants that pile it all in with the hot food). The Veggie combo came with very tasty injera, yellow lentils, green lentils, two kinds of red lentils, greens, and the salad. It would be awesome if the included some shiro wet, green beans, okra, beets and cabbage/potatoes (or some variation of these). Us vegetarians love options! Best bang for buck. Almost impossible to find an inexpensive place to eat in Seattle! Enough food to feed 4 hungry people. We ordered the veggie combo $19 and the lamb $24. The food was delicious 🤤. In the veggie combo there wasn’t my favorites dish, atakilt wat, the cabbage carrot dish but the other sides made up for it! The lamb was juicy and plentiful.

We went at 5 pm on our way back home from a road trip and stopped here. Food took long, I’m thinking because we were there to eat at an odd time. Worth the wait.

This place is a liar false advertising so I eat out all the time and I was excited to try some Ethiopian food for my first time in my hometown! However when I arrived I was disappointed to discover they would not honor my restaurant.com certificate I had purchased not more than an hour earlier they told me they do not honor those certificates, however I know from being a long time subscriber to restaurant.com that they must have accepted and signed up for this in order to be on there website. Don't sign up for it if you don't want to honor it furthermore honor what you have accepted to be part of, don't just rip people off for one I paid ten dollars for my certificate for two the company spends money to put your name on their website, all so you can have some free advertising shame on...
