I Luv Teriyaki — Restaurant in Burien

Most teryaki restaurants in the area are closed on Sundays so we decided to give I Luv Teryaki in Burien a chance. Without a menu we called and placed a takeout order over the phone, getting a few teryaki menu standards (teriyaki chicken, sweet & sour chicken, and two orders of sesame chicken). I tipped the cashier generously when picking up the food, a near 30% tip on the cost of the entire order. The kids were happy and satisfied with their teriyaki meal and sweet and sour chicken, but my wife and I were unable to eat our "sesame chicken" orders, as it was ridiculously sweet and burnt-tasting. I brought the two uneaten orders back to the same person I had tipped before and tried explaining to him why it was inedible. He wanted nothing to do with it and just said that he gave us the "honey chicken" we ordered, end of story... not even an attempt to work with me, hear me out or work out a solution. This, the very same person who I had tipped so well just a short hour earlier... ? What kind of terrible service is that?! It definitely mirrored the terrible "sesame chicken" he also provided us with, that is for sure...

Anyway, I was shown zero respect or service once they had my money in hand, and I will never again bother with this place. A complete waste of $50. Very, very poor customer service, mediocre -...

You know I I wouldn't bother going you know for the service.. Service Service was off Service was off I asked to I asked to get my Table wiped and normally you move your stuff over right and then you go back well this 1 wanted me to sit over there It's another place I don't think it was clean either so I don't understand what that was I I would I I would I would not go to this place Was the sink in the bathroom was very little And it was amazing that the water stayed in the sink But other than that you know I wouldn't bother I thought it was reasonably priced but the chicken was not I think the chicken was day old and they cried you know and tried to fix it today I've been to places where they giving me like 16 oz of meat Which is a good portion for you know you're gonna get a combo I expect to be full or at least...

Couple issues, a friend that joined me has allergies to a couple things. Informed the person taking our order and suggested another dish that didn't have those items but was chicken not beef. They would not sub the meats out even if we could pay which they denied that option as well. Another issue is two in our party found hair in their food. Informed the person taking orders, said it's not theirs. Must be ours. As for the food, they brought it out a different times, nice and hot tho. I think it could have been timed better. Food was ok, nothing that I could say would stand out. Meats were fresh but...
