We love Greek Food. Been all over town and, while it's been a while, been to Snack Gyro a few times. It's usually dependable. Not today and I don't mean an off meal, I mean a horrible meal and I rarely use that term in my reviews. We ordered the Gyros salad. What we got was very little gyros meat, watery lettuce, one piece of tomato, a few slices of wilted cucumbers, bell peppers (not mentioned in the menu description) chunks of onion (no kalamata olives i requested) smothered in their garlic sauce. (Not the Greek dressing as advertised) Hummus falafel platter. Nope not good. Tasteless hummus, with zero flavor or seasoning, like mashed garbanzo beans. Falafel was so over fried they were greasy rocks. Garlic fries? Some fries cooked others part raw. Baba Ganoug only decent side. Tasty with some added seasoning. Tabouleh salad was also horrible. Filled with chopped onions (a lot of chopped onion) a little tomato, a little parsley and a ton of chopped bell pepper. Menu says chopped parsley, onion. tomato, lemon juice..as it should be! Nope, did I mention it was smothered in garlic sauce? Yuk. So overall we spent $54 on food and tipped 15% (on take out) for a total of $62 for an inedible meal not made as described by the menu. When I called to complain and discuss my frustration? All I got was that his customers liked his food that way and it must be us. As a consistent supporter of local business and food, it pains me to write a review like this...but...don't stand there and justify bad, skimped cheaply made food. See...

Salad was feta, a little creamy dressing, tomato, a dash of spices including a little parsley, red onion, very thin spears of pickle (it's good, I know it sounds weird but it was delicious), over iceberg lettuce that had been tossed with a simple vinaigrette. I would have been totally happy with the salad alone, and it way exceeded what I expected out of a side salad.
Gyro was similar ingredients to the salad minus the pickle spears, plenty of feta, over the meat which had been seared on a flat-top. The meat was a little spicy which you normally don't see in gyro meat: I think red pepper and paprika. So if you're a spicy food kinda person it's just nice. But a difference from other Greek food I've eaten.
But yeah, you need to eat here. I've been disappointed by some other food in Burien and I'm super picky but Snack Gyro was the bomb. I'm coming back to try a plate because I suspect the rice...

It was good and filled me up quickly and I still couldn’t finish it. The only problem I had was it wasn’t spicy enough so I added my green chili to make spicy behold it was 100%. At the service was great they were nice and helped me as I had my little niece with me I couldn’t leave her alone at home so I took her with me she’s 1 year old so I couldn’t take everything in one hand so one of works had helped me. Bless his heart. The location is good as there were other red around it easy to locate. EVERYTHING WAS good except the spiciest that I wanted so if you wanted spicy then maybe not but if your ok without it then you wouldn’t mind it
