This place is hit and miss - sometimes I love it, sometimes it drives me mad. Good things - awesome bartender, nice cocktail and beer selection, cool design, always open when you need it, convenient location, hosts fun events throughout the year. Things at miss - menu, pricing and customer service. Menu lacks selection of healthy options and price to quality balance. Majority of items are either deep fried or covered in sugar, syrup or sweet sauce. If it's not fried then it's mac'n'cheese or pasta or salad, which may cost you up to $17-20 if you wish to add any meat or veggies; in fact, every time your server offers you smth else with your selection they forget to mention you'll have to pay extra $2-5 for it, which adds up to a fancy bill at the end. I would still go for those add-ons but I prefer to be notified before hand. At times I feel like waiters seem to be either overworked or just don't pay attention but those are some rare occasions. Overall, it's an average sports bar type place that really wants to be something special but just can't get it right for now.
UPD Menu and overall service greatly improved since my last review. The Point moved to my TOP5 dinner and hang out places in DT Burien. Good job...
Read moreI used to love this place the atmosphere was always good, the food taste great but now I believe that is over price even for todays standarts, but I could live with that. One thing I don't like is that there is no table service. And they still expect a minimun of 20% tip. So if I dine in with my friends, I have to serve my drinks, my water. And they still expect a min 20% tip!. Like if I go with friends I have to stop the conversation. So that I can get up and get my own water and my own drink everytime I ran out. I gone to other places that have less ppl working and they still provide table service, I went there with my ol' lady and sat at the bar. And I still had to fill up my water and got up to get a new drink. And they have the audacity to ask for a minimun of 20% tip.. no thank you.I only tip good service. When it first open, my coworkers and I used to go here for trivia night and for a good time, but now I would not go back. Most of the good bartenders and servers no longer work here, and now the ones there just gossip and ignore their patrons. I would not recommend my friends to go here. The bar around the corner is better. And is sad coz this used to be a great place to hang out and...
Read moreI wasn’t able to try the food because the service was really bad. The bartender was really rude and served around brunch time It was a woman with black hair caucasian heavy She didn’t even acknowledge us. We were the only color people in the restaurant. I’m getting the vibe that the restaurant is racist and they don’t appreciate their color customers and that’s a no go for me .These are serious feelings, and I usually don’t feel like this in other environments. The server bartender lady was serving the other people who looked like her and communicating with them, but totally ignored us while we were standing there right in front of her how rude would you like to be treated like that? anyways don’t go there if you’re black or diverse, they only serve caucasian people the best. It’s disappointing to feel this way because as a community member in Burien, we are supposed to be diverse since we are a multi-culture area. Come to find out there are always those places where you’re not welcome as soon as you feel the energy, you’re not welcome please leave and I hope nobody...
