BJ'S 19th Hole Sports Tavern — Restaurant in Burley

We were in town on business. We started working early this morning, when it was still dark. Worked our butts off all day. Ended up in this town. We rented our hotel room and googled what was nearby. We deserved to EAT, DRINK, and RELAX.

From the reviews online, this seemed like the best place. It satisfied. We travel often and have been all over the country. This joint really is clean. I have not yet seen an establishment that has a bottle of hand sanitizer on each table.

It’s a hip and colorful atmosphere. TV’s all around. Clean bathrooms. Sports memorabilia everywhere. Bar games. Pool tables. They have history on the walls. There were groups of friends and family hanging out and meeting up. You could tell they frequented often. The staff were friendly and playful with the customers.

We told our server, Mallory, that we were having a few drinks, before we ordered food. She continuously checked on us, made suggestions, very patient.

The menu is great. We watched other customers’ food come out. Good portions for a great price. We were indecisive of whether ordering a basket of chicken tenders or going light like a wrap or a salad. We decided to split a crunchy chicken salad. It was big enough for 2 people to share. Best of both worlds.

I stepped out back to check it out. Very impressed. Well lit. Charming. Clean. Horseshoe pits, bar, ceiling fans, standing fans, bright green grass, white fence. (Yeah, I said grass.) Most places have just dirt, dust, and ash trays everywhere.

The wife and I went here and drove 100 miles to do so. For their over hyped trash party only to eat some of their overpriced trash food and be threatened by someone claiming to be security only after some sexually inappropriate comments to my girl. Then when I called the guy out he went and claimed to be calling the cops. So if you like your girl to be disrespected, objectified, you like trashy people and even trashier food and drinks them this is your spot. This is the kind of inbred kiddy touching establishment built for white trash and child paedophiles. Beware of this bar. I have reported them to BBB as well as the local chamber of commerce. I love this place! The food is typical pub fare, but it is well prepared. Nothing spectacular, bit good none the less. The prices are reasonable.

The atmosphere is noce. Even though there is smoking inside it isn't stuffy, or smelly. The tables and bar are clean. The patrons are pleasant, and it's not overwhelmed by noise despite the many TV's showing sporting events.

There are the typical pub games available, such as darts and pool. The wonderful bit is they have horseshoe pits out back! Very nicely built, sand, with rakes, and racks of shoes.

The patio area is covered, and that may be nice during the occasion of rain on a warm day. However, maybe it would be nice if there were some area with tables in the grass without cover for the more favorable days of sun. Either way I love this place and would encourage anyone to...
