It's - It Ice Cream — Restaurant in Burlingame

I'm, perhaps, a bit too familiar with the It's-It factory. But, can I really be blamed, when Living Social and Groupon keep shoving these $10 for a dozen ice cream sandwich vouchers in my face? No, right? Thank you for understanding.

If you've had an It's-It before, you already know what to expect here: delicious chocolate-dipped, ice cream oatmeal cookie sandwiches. The only difference between coming here and going to your nearby convenience store is that, at the main factory, you get access to every single flavor they have (which, as of a few days ago, now includes matcha green tea!!), as well as their ice cream bars, classic ice cream sandwiches, chocolate dunked cookies, and frozen cookie dough. For those who haven't tried the latter two, they come highly recommended by the stomachs of myself and my guests.

My only complaint, if I had to give one, are their hours, which happen to pretty much coincide with a standard working day. But, hey, what better than leaving work a bit early than leaving work a bit early for the excuse of stockpiling ice cream sandwiches?!

Venue - Their customer facing shop is your typical ice cream behind a counter setup, albeit without any seating, and the place is on the smaller side, but given that it's never been packed when I've gone, this hasn't proven to be a problem.

Bathroom - Pretty sure they don't have any...

Most delicious ice cream sandwich without an equal - equally as great is the staff.

Traveling, I placed an order and picked up a case to surprise my kids and share the wonderful treat. Incredibly helpful and timely assistance from everyone I worked with at It's It.

Unfortunately, United Airlines had me check the package and promptly lost it somewhere upon arrival in NJ...Sadness set in when after an more than an hour of looking, they couldn't find it.

I had this fear as the United agents didnt seem incredibly confident in where the checked package should go and put it in the oversized luggae area even though it was a small box. Next time I will put a bluetooth tag in to track it as my checked luggage.

I will dream of what could have been. Hope someone at the airport is at least enjoying them.

Update: It’s It crew even better than expected. Enough dry ice to protect the package while lost for almost 48hours. Rock solid frozen! So very...

I had always seen the its it ice cream boxes at ralphs but never managed to buy some...not until i went on a work trip with my husband and to our surprise, drive by the its it factory! insert confetti emoji first of all, the cashier was the absolute sweetest gal! Super informative and kind, excellent service! We tried the pumpkin, strawberry, amd chocomint sandwiches....they were so freaking amazing! Once you bite into the crunch of the chocolate, you find the decadent cookie which is then greeted by the tasty creamy ice cream...and it all melts fantastically in your mouth. I loved the pumpkin one because the oatmeal cookie cinnamon and pumpkin flavor become one and makes your taste buds sing! I also love the chocolate mint because thats my all time fav ice cream flavor...the chocolate is delicious and has such a nice crunch! I was so happy eating my ice cream in the parking lot outside my rental car! Lol make sure you stop by, try one try em all! You will...
