Decided to take a birthday trip to San Francisco and then Los Angeles. Wanted a hotel close to the airport (even though I had a rental car), so I picked this one after checking googlemaps for various choices. 1. It is very close to the airport. In fact, an airport entrance is right down the street. 2. As I love to watch airplane traffic. You could just walk across the street through another hotel parking lot and watch planes land over the water. 3. Rooms-Hmm. I would say that they are, "Okay", but could use a little updating especially by getting rid of the carpeting and replacing it vinyl or linoleum. You something that could be cleaned better. 4. Parking-The lot is kind of small, but at night there were at least a few spaces left. 5. Safety-Being away from the city, where you have to be more cautious, I felt pretty safe here. But as a super traveler, I still encircled the parking lot, before picking a spot. 6. Staff-I asked for a late check-out as a Honors member. The woman said, "because I did E-Check-in, all she could do is 12noon". One, I did not do e-check-in, I always come to the desk for check-in, to assess whether I want to stay. Two, I have never heard of such a ridiculous excuse and neither did customer service, when I called them about it later. So, NO, I was not happy with the day-time staff. I'd rather a person say we are going to be full tonight and need to get all of our rooms ready as soon as possible. 7. They have a decent little breakfast to get you started. Like juices, cereal, waffle maker, boiled eggs, sausage, oatmeal and that type of thing. 8. Restaurants-Just across the highway 101, on the other side there are a ton of places to eat. My favorite, In-N-Out was over there, so I was really happy. Bottom line- It was just okay. But I listed down other hotels to stay in on that same street for my next visit in September. Photos-None of the hotel, I was not impressed enough, here is how close the airport runway is to see some of the most beautiful international jets.

I chose this hotel because of his proximity to SFO and they had shuttle service. I often stay at Hampton Inn and have a good experience - this one was an exception. I did not know there was no shuttle service in the middle of the afternoon so I had to pay too much for a Lyft from SFO. They did have shuttle service in the morning so that part was fine. I attached a picture of their shuttle schedule. The worst part of my stay was when I arrived and pulled back the covering the sheet had a yellow stain - disgusting! I attached a picture. Fortunately they changed the sheets within 15 minutes, but it never should have happened in the first place. When they changed the sheets they asked if I wanted the pillowcases changed instead, do you think they had to actually ask that- of course I wanted the pillowcase changed! The stain was so obvious and large, that there’s no excuse for housekeeping to make that bed and not see that. I left early in the morning to get my flight, so I was not able to try their free breakfast. Next time I am in the San Francisco area, I will not stay at this hotel again.

This is the used condom that was beside my bed in my room that I found when I was doing a sweep of the room before checking out. My 3 year old son had stayed in the room with me. I informed the front desk upon checkout and showed them the picture of what was found and was told a manager would contact me. No manager ever contacted me. I called the hotel back directly and was told no refund could be offered for a room that obviously had not been cleaned. I am a Diamond member who stays at Hilton properties over 40 nights a year. I contacted both Hilton corporate customer service and the hotel manager about the issue and requested a refund which was denied by both. Do not stay here.

Please read: (Update ZERO stars)

So my room had a towel that had blood on it. The blood didn't belong to us. I brought the towel down to the lobby and explained the situation. I went back upstairs and thought to start looking around for a more thorough inspection. During this time I found that the side table was filthy, there were hand smears on the picture on the wall, and there were even Doritos left in the air conditioning unit - to top it off, I found another towel with blood on it that has definitely been on the towel for a while. When I went back downstairs to address the situation the front desk and the manager had wanted to claim that the original towel was fresh blood which it was absolutely not and then I brandished the other towel with blood on it in which they had no answer for. The manager claimed that she would have to go up to our room when we were not occupying it to further inspect and that she would call me to let me know what they were going to do about the situation. As it turns out, she never called me and nothing has been done about the situation. I don't consider this to be a small matter especially in the midst of a world stricken by Covid 19 and as a Covid Compliance Officer I am highly disappointed and shocked at the lack of maintenance and care for this room. Their recording claims that if a patron is not satisfied with their stay that they would not be charged and that is not what I was initially thinking of, but after the filth and NO follow through from management I absolutely do feel like I should not be charged at this point. I did NOT get what I paid for. I'm not going to tell you not to come here, but I will say: "Customer Beware!" Very disappointing - do better.

UPDATE: This morning I had gone down to the lobby to follow up on the issues and ask why I hadn't been contacted. Upon reaching the front desk the original front desk lady was there as was the manager who was MASKLESS. If we have to wear them, you do too! When I had started speaking with her she blew off any reasons as to why she never called and said that the issues were so blatant that there was NO WAY she he cleaning crew would have missed it. So I asked her if she was accusing us (she was) and she said no she wasn't and just that there's no way those mistakes could have been missed. This entire interaction is absolutely unacceptable and I am appalled by this woman and how she conducts business. An inanimate object would do a better job managing.

I changed my mind on telling you whether or not to come here - DO NOT GIVE THIS LOCATION BUSINESS! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!

Also! Not sure if there is supposed to be a bag covering the smoke detector, but I'm updating this post...

Great up until the last hour. We got a late check out so we could take my Mom to the airport and return to eat a quick lunch. When we got back housekeeping had been in our room. They left most things (my reusable water bottle, my daughters toys, etc) but took the bottle of hand sanitizer that was sitting with it all. What in the world? I know it is a hot item but come on. We got it back from the desk as we left but what a hassle.

Edit: We decided to give this hotel another try (their parking is free for guests so it is a big draw). However, I called on 5/20 at 7:52am and specifically asked if the Hotel has kids channels including: Disney Jr, Nick Jr, and PBS kids. (This is important to us because we have a 4 year old daughter that has a genetic condition which prevents her from safely playing outside during the day and, since this is a 3 day stay, we knew she would want to watch her favorite shows.) On the call the Front Desk Associate told me they do have these channels. To double check I asked if they were sure, they assured me l, "yes, we have those channels." We arrived 5/21, turned on the TV, scrolled to Disney Jr, and had "no signal" flashing at us. I called the front desk and was informed that they do not, in fact, have kids channels. I'm extremely frustrated. I definitely would have booked another location had I known the room was not going to provide for our needs.

UPDATE: We have been given the channels! What a relief. I don't think I could have handled watching the Shrek series (the only thing on that my daughter would...
